MEET BIDEN’S NEW DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF SPENT FUEL AND WASTE DISPOSITION
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY

A self-described gender-fluid nuclear nerd announced his new job in the Office
of Nuclear Energy for the Department of Energy.

The Office of Nuclear Energy did not immediately return a call requesting
verification of the news Sam Brinton posted to his LinkedIn profile.

“I have some pretty BIG news to share with you all today,” Brinton said. “I have
accepted the offer to serve as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and
Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy for the Department of Energy.
In this role I’ll be doing what I always dreamed of doing, leading the effort to
solve the nation’s nuclear waste challenges.”

Brinton, whose professional profile includes graduation from the prestigious
Massachusetts Institute of Technology has spent years as an advocate for the
LGBTQ community. His personal website includes a number of YouTube videos,
including one where he addresses a United Nations committee to end torture. He
addressed them a a “survivor of conversion therapy”, a cause that he has devoted
considerable energy to fighting.

He said he will do all he can to bring innovative thought into his government
role.

“I’ll even be (to my knowledge) the first gender fluid person in federal
government leadership,” he said. “But most importantly, I am going to be
responsible for finding solutions to a problem I have dedicated my life to that
has been stymied for decades.”

A Friday report in the Conservative Brief described Brinton as a “Drag Queen”
who likes to participate in “Puppy Play”. The report includes photos they
purport to be of Brinton in dresses and stilletos. They link to a 2016 article
in “MetroWeekly” and claim photos of a handler identified only as “Sam” make it
clear he is Brinton, using a pseudonym. The photos have since been stripped from
the online edition of the issue but captions remain indicating photos of “Sam”
had been published. A cached version of the issue captured the photos, including
the one of “Sam”, which resembles Brinton.

Mr. Brinton’s TikTok page has no videos yet but his photo shows him wearing what
appears to be a dress and lipstick.

Brinton not not immediately available for comment.
