What you need to succeed:
* Multiple years of experience as a manager of software engineers in a product
team
* An engineering background ideally in backend development on the JVM
* Experience in the commerce industry
* A passion for growing, coaching, and mentoring your team with a track record
of doing so
* Experience in leading distributed teams and fostering belonging in a remote
setup
* An excellent understanding of agile software development methodologies, best
practices, and tools. You know their trade-offs and how they can support a
smooth delivery of your team’s goals
* A solid understanding of software architecture and system design
* A beginner’s mindset
* Excellent soft skills, most importantly communication, empathy, and
self-reflection
* Fluent written and spoken English skills to work in an international
environment
