WHAT IS TEFL / TESOL?

TEFL is an acronym for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, while TESOL
stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language.

The abbreviations "TEFL" and "TESOL" are often used to describe both the
occupation of teaching English and the certification that qualifies one to teach
English.

TEFL is primarily used to refer to teaching English in countries where English
