Tiko is an established, next-generation African non-profit organisation that
delivers scalable and verified impact – enabling sub-Saharan African youth to do
more – through smart technologies and in-partner local networks.

With our Tiko platform, we deliver sexual reproductive health services through a
network of stigma-free, reputable healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and
community-based organisations. Investing in partners that deliver results, at no
cost to users.

Sexual reproductive health services holds the promise of a future where every
individual, irrespective of gender or background, can realize their potential,
contribute meaningfully, and participate fully in building a more equitable and
prosperous world.



That is why, at Tiko, we believe that young people deserve the power to choose
where, when, and how they meet their sexual reproductive health needs. And why
we’re committed to contribute to creating this world.



A world where young people and adolescents have more control over their health
choices and paths – to do more with their lives. Where communities thrive, and
individuals are empowered to shape their destinies.

Tiko, previously Triggerise, has nine years of experience in evolving healthcare
solutions that are accessible, adaptable, scalable and locally relevant, with
verifiable impact.



We have an active community of nearly a million users, and have enabled over one
and a half million services on our platform since 2020.



Our purpose of making a difference, differently, remains.



Founded with the intention to disrupt the non-profit status quo by making
technology central to our operating model, and with a firm focus on
outcomes-based impact, through direct health services and reputable sexual and
reproductive health providers.



Our platform model is key to our collective success. By delivering real-time
data, our team, partners, and donors have unprecedented insight into project and
performance tracking – keeping our efforts transparent, agile, and effective in
delivering impact on all investments.


ABOUT THE TIKO PLATFORM



The Tiko platform connects partners across supply and demand to give members
access to quality sexual and reproductive health products and services. 



To generate impact, we use funding revenue to pay and reward the full ecosystem
– users, mobilisers, retailers, and service providers – through the free-to-use
platform.



By engaging in health-enabling behaviours, members receive rewards – providing
economic returns in addition to health gains. Tiko pays mobilisers for the
impact they generate, and service providers for the services they provide. 



This is made possible through our valued funders that pay platform maintenance
and development costs – effectively investing in the impact generated by the
platform.

A world where all youth have the power to choose where, when, and how they meet
their sexual reproductive health needs.
