Conditions
No snow or ice was observed during today's observations.

A windy day to begin with, and rainy in the afternoon.

Essential equipment
Seasonally appropriate walking equipment, including lighting (such as a head
torch).

Additional information
On the Tuesday of the final report of the season the forecast suggests that
temperatures will be above freezing throughout the forecast period (until Monday
6th May), and that snow or ice is unlikely in the near future.

As spring draws towards summer wintry conditions will become less and less
likely, but low temperatures are still possible, continuing to feel cold at
times especially in strong winds, or when getting wet in the rain. If you want
to prepare to stay safe on the mountain it's still worth having a look at the
latest forecasts for the summit of Yr Wyddfa, and the Eryri mountains area.
