Dcl Contest #18 An Hq For The Dao Townhall!

Time to create a place where the DAO can strategize!! 

The main idea is to create a space for hosting Decentraland in-world DAO Town
Halls and other DAO events. The scene should be a place for encouraging
collaboration and discussion amongst DAO members, it should have plenty of space
for people to congregate and interact individually and collectively.

The builds in this contest will be transferred over to the facilitation squad
who will use those as HQs for future in world DCL Townhalls!!

Some ideas / features that would be great:
-Features that allow for presentation of ideas or proposals, such as a podium, a
stage, projector screen, etc.
-Would be good to have one main room and other(s) for chilling, brainstorming,
or having meetings.
-Visually attractive and well signaled for users that don’t usually attend to
DAO meetings.
-Board with important dates or next meetings to be held in that place

Plot size (max): 
- 3x3 plot size max

Visual guidelines:
-Optimized for performance to minimize lag and ensure a smooth experience for
all users.
- Completely free 

Architectural guidelines:
- Government or coworking building (modern or historical).
-Designed to accommodate a large number of users and allow for easy navigation.
-2 floors as maximum

Presentation constraints:

The asset presentation is very flexible, but it needs to:
1. Present the asset from all sides
2. Include a section of the presentation where you can see the asset deployed in
Decentraland
Note: You can create cinematic trailers, renders, etc. in any way you want as
long as you respect the 2 rules above

PRIZE POOL:

1st place: 1250 $USDC
2nd place: 625 $USDC
3rd place: 375 $USDC
4th place: 200 $USDC
5th place: 100 $USDC

Are you interested in selling your creations on The Sandbox Game marketplace?
We are running another contest where builders can now submit their creations to
give them the opportunity to be in the SandStorm Official Collection.

The collection will be released on Sandbox Marketplace on May 25

RULES
- Everyone who is Level 2 - Verified can enter
- Fill out the form in addition to the contest submission -

(Form will be used in the event users become winners so we don't lose time
getting this information later)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Create and upload your creation to this contest (Only 1 asset per person)
2. Share it on Twitter with the SandStorm link
3. Invite the community vote on your assets - Must by Level 2 - Verified to
vote.
4. Fill out the Google Form for asset submission.


There is no specific theme you need to follow. You can make anything you'd like.
Note: Catalyst, Gems, Price will be defined later on once the winners are
announced.
- Make sure to you follow the VoxEdit Guidelines 
- Max Face Count: 5000
- Max Node Count: 200
- Make sure you there is no z-fighting, clipping, and open animations. 
- Make sure your asset is fully functional in The Sandbox Game Maker

GM all!


Time to represent web3 culture & give the DCL community a proper way to GM. 


 


Challenge: Develop a "GM" emote to say hi to all your metaverse friends in your
own.. special way..   


Bonus points: Create a fun context & environment for the purpose of your
presentation


 


Build constraints:
· Max Animation Length: 10 seconds (300 frames)
· Animations per file: 1
· Export format: .glb
· Sampling Rate: 2 or 3 (if needed)
· Max file size: 1mb
· Max animation distance: 1 meter (in any direction)
· Max animation height: 1 meter


Publishing constraints:


The judges are testing the files in world when reviewing the builds. Therefore,
it is very important that you upload the files including: 


- Full .glb files


- Add additional texture files & other if needed to properly visualise the full
asset in a 3D modeling software. 


 


Presentation constraints:


The asset presentation is very flexible, but it needs to:


1. Present the asset from all sides


2. Include a section of the presentation where you can see the asset deployed in
Decentraland
