Come Let us Make History Together! Welcome to the 2024 Academic Year

As we welcome both our returning and first-year students at the beginning of the
TUT 2024 Academic Year, the winds of history are blowing across all TUT
campuses, and great anticipation is in the air. This is the 20th Academic Year
in the history of the Tshwane University of Technology.


TUT management meets with high-level NSFAS delegation.

On 8 December 2023, the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) welcomed a
delegation from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). The
high-powered NSFAS delegation was led by Board Chairperson Mr Ernest Khosa.

In 24 days – on the 1st of January 2024 to be precise - the Tshwane University
of Technology (TUT) will turn twenty. This milestone deserves our celebration.
In the two decades of its existence, TUT has been a gamechanger in the South
African higher education landscape.

Faculty of Arts & Design recognises outstanding achievements from its creative
community

The first-ever Research Awards evening of the Faculty of Arts and Design on 30
November was a significant event in its academic journey. The Faculty started
this special tradition to recognise the outstanding research contributions from
its creative community.
