Verisk Impacted by Global Outage
Hi KATRINA,
You have probably heard about the CrowdStrike incident, which is impacting
businesses worldwide. Unfortunately, some Verisk services were also impacted by
the incident. This was not a security incident or breach, and your data is
secure.

Our systems have been restored, however, two important Verisk services were
impacted:
 1. Web applications – Our web applications had experienced intermittent
connection issues. Users trying to search ClaimSearch, for example, may have
received an error message. Some users had seen incomplete results.
 2. System-to-system connections – Our API services that receive data from
customers and return results have been restored and are working safely.
However, there is a backlog of data that we are ingesting, and as a result
the responses are very slow.  In other words, automated data feeds for
ClaimSearch are working, but there may be notable latency.
