HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT A BIG IMPACT A SMALL ACT OF KINDNESS CAN HAVE?
FOSTERING IS ONE SUCH ACTION. BY SIMPLY OPENING YOUR HOME TO A PET IN NEED, YOU
CAN BE PART OF A TEAM EFFORT TO PREVENT UNNECESSARY EUTHANASIA, SURRENDER AND
SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED.

How amazing would it be to bring joy and save a life? With your help, we can
create a network of caring foster homes, where pets can find a temporary or
forever home and get a chance at a better life.

Think of the possibilities of fostering an animal. You can make an enormous
difference in a pet’s life with something as small as welcoming them into your
home for a short amount of time. Imagine the immense feeling of gratitude you
will have when you know you helped a pet find their forever home.

If you have space and time, open your heart and become a foster parent. Change a
pet’s world, and watch yours transform too.

HELP FIND A PLACE FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS.



No one knows exactly how to show love better than our four-legged friends. But
there are still so many animals out there who do not know what love is, who need
to be taught how to be loved, and more importantly, feel safe to love in return.
This is why fostering matters.

There is an epidemic of never before seen levels of need for animal fosters.
Shelters are full and rescues are overflowing. Without fosters, deserving
animals are turned away to starve, or be killed.

Help ensure no pet has to be turned away due to a lack of a loving safe place to
stay, by temporarily fostering one of these special pets and opening up your
home to help make their lives better.


BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.

WE ARE CREATING A NATIONAL DATABASE OF FOSTER HOMES AND WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF
IT!

Free for fosters to register, this database is the first step in providing an
opportunity for national collaboration for rescues and shelters, sharing of
resources (fosters), and helping educate and bring awareness to the greater
community about the importance of and need for fostering.

If you are interested in becoming a pet foster parent, please fill out this form
or the one below and we will notify you as soon as our software is ready for
intake.


THE TIMELINE.



FEBRUARY 3 TO MARCH 5, 2023

Kickstarter campaign to raise money to fund the launch of the program. It will
be a national database connecting rescues and shelters with pet foster homes to
ensure no dog or cat in need is unnecessarily euthanized.

MARCH 5 - APRIL 30, 2023

After the Kickstarter campaign concludes successfully, our team will commence
building the of the software. Our Alpha release will include and incorporate
free registration for fosters.

MAY 1, 2023

Launch of Alpha version (Pre Beta) of the fosterapet.org for rescues and
shelters to register and search/use the foster database to help ensure no pet
has to be turned away. Testing and issue resolution toward Beta Launch

*FUNDING FOSTERING:

We know there will be a need for there to be a complimentary campaign/program to
generate funding and donations for rescues to help ensure they can cover the
vetting costs and supplies needed to bring in more animals. Part of the Foster A
Pet program will be the creation, promotion, and management of fundraising and
marketing campaigns fund to be used by rescues

This is only the first step in much work to be done but it is a step in the
right direction.

It promotes collaboration and sharing of resources. It promotes awareness and
cooperation. It promotes education and bettering the lives of animals and their
humans.
