PRESIDENT TRUMP ISSUES NEW STATEMENTS AHEAD OF HISTORIC SCOTUS CASE

Everyone knows that the various criminal cases and ongoing litigation against
President Trump are purely political—there is zero substance in any of them.

At the center of at least one of the political battles the former President is
fighting against the establishment is the question of Presidential immunity.

The Supreme Court is set to hear a historic case next week to decide whether or
not President Trump had Presidential immunity during the so-called ‘classified
documents’ incident.

Obviously, the ruling in this case would have greater ramifications that go far
beyond the 45th President—they strike at the very heart of the republic.

Ahead of next week’s SCOTUS case, President Trump released a torrent of
statements on Truth Social explaining the significance of the hearing:

USA Today featured some of the arguments laid out by the Trump legal team:

> Washington, in his farewell address, warned against the “alternate domination
> of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to
> party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the
> most horrid enormities.”
> 
> Madison cautioned that “the diseases of faction … have proved fatal to other
> popular governments,” Trump’s lawyers wrote.

MAGA patriot Mila Joy asked: “Should Trump attend the NY court case as required
by the Judge or should he go to the SCOTUS and hear the Presidential Immunity
case? If he blows off court he is likely to get 30 days in jail.”





The Hill featured this statement from Judge Merchan to President Trump’s legal
team:



> “Arguing before the Supreme Court is a big deal, and I can certainly
> appreciate why your client would want to be there, but a trial in New York
> Supreme Court … is also a big deal,” Judge Juan Merchan said to Trump lawyer
> Todd Blanche, rejecting his request to let the former president play hooky.
> 
> “I will see him here next week,” the judge added.
