surprise of a life time Paul is the star of a movie that is filming in her
hometown Her best friend puts him up in her families home and introduces Emma
and Paul Emma is attracted to Paul but she is not sucked in by his star power
alone But this girl next door has caught Paul's eye Their uick romance starts
but between her sort of ex boyfriend Craig and his contractual obligations these
seemed doomed But the life of a small town farm girl is nothing compared to the
life of an A list actor who intends to sweep her off her feet There was
something about the writing style that I just really liked It seemed almost
vulnerable and shy at times Bold in just the right places You could almost feel
her fear through the pages I hope we get a glimpse into Paul a bit in part 2
since he is still such a mystery

One of the few books and I am almost never without a book in my hand that I just
couldn't put down What makes this story so great besides the sex scenes is that
the plot and characters are so believable I have read the whole series so I
won't give anything away but I have to say that this is one of the best books
I've read in a long time Every chapter seems to start and end with a sentence
that keeps you wanting and trust me you get it I highly recommend getting the
rest of the series you will not be disappointed

I liked this a lot It was cute I didn't like that she talked past tense almost
the entire book I felt disconnected and I didn't feel like I was in the story at
all I wanted to be with her and her thoughts as things progressed But yeah Short
and cute A good read

I won this book on LibraryThing Members giveaways When I first began this book I
honestly did not like the main character Emma She came off as prudish snobbish
and close minded Not to mention I felt somewhat insulted I'm originally from a
small Midwest town and I have never acted that way But then the further along I
got in the novella even though I still didn't really like her I started to think
that perhaps the author was purposely giving Emma those character flaws so we
can see her grow throughout the series By the end of the book I started to think
Emma was someone I could actually like She was finally becoming strong and not
trying to hide behind her small town persona I actually look forward to reading
about her in the next installmentsThe other characters in the book were fine The
main male character Paul has an insta love with Emma I am not a fan of insta
love The thing that saves Paul's over reaction to Emma is the fact that Emma is
not as enthralled with Paul That makes it seem realisticThe sex scenes were hot
but not horribly over the top as some romances and erotica being published They
were scenes that were realistic and I think that is what made them much steamy
Of course we all know sex in public places is pretty darn hotOverall I enjoyed
this novella and plan to finish the series I would recommend it my friends that
enjoy the 50 Shades books

This is definitely s young adult fantasy book Chloe and her friend Alice live on
an island where a company designs new technology Each night the girls go to
rooftops and run with “Echoes” ghosts from one building to another One ghost
tries to communicate with them one night and things change from there on The
plot of this book is very imaginative but not to my liking There are some very
good vivid descriptions throughout Some of the names used are uncommon and
definitely geared toward a younger audience I found the book totally strange and
often a bit confusing There are a lot of uniue creaturescharacters throughout
which put me off in many cases The two main characters Chloe and Alice seemed
self centered not providing good examples for readers This is part of a larger
series Slumberland Station which will follow along these same lines Is this a
worthwhile series for young people? I am not sure because I am not ready to put
someone like these main characters up as examples for others to follow However
if the reader is into this type of book and enjoys reading fantasy this is
probably a good book for you If you prefer to have your feet and those of the
characters in the book grounded in reality as I do go elsewhere You won’t find
it here I received this book free to read and review from Library Thing

Ok so maybe this isn't fair of me but technically this book was between 2 and 25
stars for me I just don't like Emma She showed some redeeming ualities in the
middle of the book but from the start she just seemed so insecure whiny and
annoying Surprisingly for a movie start Paul was actually tame and sort of
likeable but at the same time boring The story just felt sort of flat to me I'm
still not sure what Jessie and Zach were trying to accomplish with some of their
discussions with her It was actually really strange to read that Jessie and Emma
were best friends but not those kind of friends when it came to intimacy or
caringfor God's sake she was surprised when Jessie kissed her head and gave her
advice to try with Paul in LA How can that relationship be described as BFFs?
And what was the deal with her and Craig? She seemed to miss the signals on that
one too and yet she was completely unhappy with him her life her town but
unwilling to do anything about itI'm sorry everyone but I just didn't uite feel
this one I have read some of the reviews for the remaining books and they seem
to get better but I don't know if I want to spend the money when this one just
didn't gel with me

This is what I picture when I read this book Great sex beautiful story and an
amazing read If I could wake up EVERY morning with Thatcher in my bed I would be
a HAPPY woman Well I am happy but you know in the book kind of happy At first I
thought Emma thought she was better than anyone else

Ok who hasn't dreamed that their life couldn't get better for some gorgeous
celebrity to come sweep them off their feet? What we don't dream is the reality
of being thrown into the celebrity lifestyle no privacy that even celebrities
have problems This books moves fast at times a little too fast But I like the
characters all their flaws I'm glad to see friendships true love win out even
though it takes work to stay together ah life I also liked the fun of a
relationship being brought out between Paul Emma It's a wild ride of a story
enjoy
