Metro is pondering the redevelopment of all or part the Portland Expo Center.
The regional government operates the onetime livestock auction site in North
Portland as a convention center that hosts trade shows and other large events.
It said the venue draws 500,000 visitors annually and hosts about 100 events in
a typical year.
