DESCRIPTION

An examination of the controversy surrounding stress ulcer prophylaxis in
critically ill patients, with guidance for its appropriate use in this setting.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

To appraise when stress ulcer prophylaxis should be considered for critically
ill patients with risk factors for stress ulcers.




TARGET AUDIENCE

Directed to practitioners in critical care, emergency medicine, and
pharmacology.
