About

Pragatee Foundation is a voluntary, non-profit, urban and rural development
organization, committed for the empowerment and emancipation of women, children,
aged and needy rural and semi area masses. Pragatee Foundation’s longstanding
desire is to support the under privileged and disadvantaged members of the
society. Awareness and education bring empowerment and empowerment leads to
sustainability. Founded in 2005, Pragatee foundation operates at national level
and is an associate member of times foundation (times of India group). Since its
inception, it has been an independent, nonprofit organization. Since its charter
stated that the resources should be used “all public welfare”, the foundation
has made grants to many different kind of school and organization. The
foundation has become a national philanthropy dedicated to the advancement of
human welfare and human development.

Pragatee foundation is one of the leading trusts in India. It is a foundation
devoted to social, medical and educational development. Apart from it literacy
program, we organize various social events like free medicine distribution,
blood donation camps, aids awareness program, cancer patient aid program, Mahila
rojgar yojna, youth employment program, Pre-primary School education program,
National Digital Literacy Mission etc.

The Pragatee foundation is one of the leading Trusts in India. Pragatee
foundation is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified NGO in Social, Medical and IT Education
Services. It is registered under Govt. of Maharashtra (Reg. no. E-22705) in the
year 2005. It has been done lots of work for social, medical and educational
development since its establishment successfully. It is Registered U/s 80-G of
the I.T. Act 1961. Also having registration under Foreign Currency Regulation
Act, FCRA (Govt. of India) for Economic Educational and Social nature.
Registered under Planning Commission known as the NITI AYOG(Govt. of India).
Organization is also registered with MSME (Govt of India).

We organize various social and events like Free medicine distribution, Blood
donation camp, Aids awareness program, Cancer patient aid program, Women
Empowerment Program, Mahila rojgar yojna, Youth Employment program, IT
education/Computer Literacy program, Student Scholarship Program, Free eye
testing program, Free Specs distribution and Free Cataract Surgery program,
Women Skill Development Program, etc.
 
Founded with an aim to provide monetary, medicinal and social help to needy poor
cancer and other major diseases suffered patients. Pragatee Foundation Patient
Aid Program has helped more than 1000 such patients since its formation in 2005
and has donated maximum its fund for treatment of patients and free Medical
Camp. Pragatee Foundation is also involved in sponsoring Bright students for
their continuation of education especially for BPL and underprivileged
categories students. Pragatee foundation adopted various Ashram Schools and
installed computer labs for the benefit of underprivileged students. Pragatee
foundation is also working hard for the empowerment of unemployed youth and
domestic violence affected women. We trained more than 10,000 students all over
India in IT & Vocational Skill Training Program. Project “UDDAN” is unique
program run by Pragatee Foundation for empowerment of women especially.
