It's so good, it's hard to stop eating! The cottage cheese is the trick to getting such a creamy texture and using rotisserie chicken keeps this recipe quick. Feel free to add peas or steamed broccoli. Serve with a simple salad or noodles. I used whipped cottage cheese, that I didn't even know was a thing. I added high heat sautéed fresh mushrooms, black olives and I skipped the cracker top. I also added noodles. Read More Helpful (1) Allrecipes Member 01/22/2024 Loved this. Followed recipe exactly. So creamy . Will definitely make again. Read More Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member 01/21/2024 I thought the dish was good but I made some changes to the recipe. I made it with fresh chicken breast pouned them down until about 1 1/2 inch thickness. Then instead of plain cream cheese I added onion and chive cream cheese, added a little of the soup and cheese spread to the bottom of baking pan topped the uncooked chicken with the rest of the mixture (mixed in some cheese with the mozzarella)baked at 350 for about 45 minutes was delicious 😋 Read More Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member 01/18/2024 I hate that this review system removes my paragraphs creating one run-on paragraph. Someone needs to get the webmaster to correct that ridiculousness.I, like another reviewer am giving this a 5 star bump because it does not deserve the ridiculous 1 star reviews from people with "health-nut-itis" who only read the recipe and found out it doesn't work for their restricted diet or restricted palate. Then there are the people who substituted ingredients and didn't like it...come on.For me this is about a 4 star, maybe 3.5 star recipe as it is, mainly because of what it is...it's just a somewhat basic casserole and could use some noodles and maybe step on the seasonings a bit (for those of us who know where Flavortown is).BUT! When I was fairly strict with carbs this would have been right up my alley. Skip the cracker topping and you have a fairly low carb main dinner serving. The author needs to clarify the baking dish size. "9 inch" is not a baking pan size. 9x9" is, and 9x13" is, and the baking dish in the photography looks to me like a 9x13". I dont think the volume of these ingredients would work in a 9x9" baking dish but the author should be more specific. Read More Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member 01/18/2024 Absolutely fantastic and will definitely be making it again. Read More Helpful (0) LLL 01/18/2024 I reviewed the recipe. I tried to incorporate the many suggestions. I still found the dish to be just so so. Read More Helpful (1) sues 01/18/2024 I put 5 stars to counteract the ridiculous 1 star ratings from people who look at ingredients, rate it, never make it, and bring down the rating from actual reviews. If you didn’t make it, don’t rate it!Or at least PRETEND you did! Read More Helpful (2) KIMNOL 01/18/2024 Sodium 1046, 32 grams of fat why would you serve such an unhealthy dish to your family? Read More Helpful (0) Allrecipes Member 01/17/2024 Awe,,,seemingly the first review was refused for being too honest! So let me try again. Firstly the use of "powder",,,on the rest of the planet WE CALL IT SALT! Secondly, an actual recognised recipe, consists so much more than shop bought packets, that you open, stir, then heat up ! The dish looks fantastic in the picture, but never judge a book by its cover ! There are way too many flavours, a positive "food crash" in the kitchen! As is the norm in umuricu,,subtlety in cooking is so much better than the entire supermarket shelf on one plate !
