How does the referral program work?

As a registered user on our website, you have your own unique "referral link".

If you share your referral link with other people, and they click on it, we will
know that person was referred to the website by you.

If you're in an eligible country (currently the US, UK or EU), you can earn
commission based on the number of new users who follow your referral link.

They need to be legitimate users, so they need to make a list, add items to it,
and share it with people, just as a normal user would.

There's no strict limit on the items they add to a list, or how many people they
share their list with, but it needs to be at least 5.

We also have sophisticated checks on all referrals, so we know whether it was an
actual person who made a list, and was legitimately using our service.

Any fraudulent referrals will be ignored.

Where can I share my referral link?

You can share your referral link anywhere.

You could send it in an email to family and friends, or share it across all your
social media channels.

Some good places to share your referral link would be social groups who have a
need for a Wish List, or a gift list.

Christmas and birthdays is an obvious choice, so any parenting groups is a good
idea. But our platform is so versatile that people make wish lists for many
different things.

When do I get paid?

We pay commissions at the end of each month, once you have reached at least 10
referrals.

Please make sure your bank details are recorded in your user account.

All referrals are manually checked to make sure they are legitimate users who
you referred, before payment is made.

Our decision is final, and is used to ensure no-one tries to game the system
with fraudulent accounts.

Can I deeplink to a different page?

"Deeplinking" is the process by which you link to a page within a website, but
also make sure it's tracked as a referral link.

The important part of your referral link is the "ref=<your code>" part.

So, to "deeplink" to another page, you would change the url to be something
like:

www.thingstogetme.com/wedding?ref=<your code>

Can I share my link on YouTube?

Yes, you're free to share your link anywhere.

Sharing your link in a YouTube video is a great way to guarantee an endless
supply of referrals.

Can I share my link on Facebook?

Yes, you can share your referral link anywhere.

Facebook posts and stories can be a great place to share your link for maximum
reach.
