DESCRIPTION

Role Overview:

One of the most efficient ways to bring food to our hungry neighbors is through
donations.  As we approach giving season the Second Harvest Heartland
Development team is seeking a skilled based volunteer to provide support on
end-of-year admin projects.

What you’ll do:

 * Sort and organize incoming paperwork
 * Assist in removing and categorizing various donor acquisition materials
 * Assist with calling donors who sent in donations via mail with missing
   information
 * Coordinate with development team staff

What you’re committing to

 * 2–4-hour shifts 2-3 times per week for the months of November through January
 * Having strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written
   communication
 * Arriving on time and giving advance notice when unavailable
 * Being comfortable with independent work

When and where you’ll volunteer:

Volunteer Location: Brooklyn Park Office - 7101 Winnetka Ave N, Brooklyn Park,
MN 55428

Days of the week: 2 to 3 days per week; Flexible – Monday through Thursday

Time of day: Flexible – between the hours of 9am and 4pm

Project start date: Training to be completed in October, regular 2-3x per week
schedule starting in November
