ICANN Begins Search for Next President and CEO
The ICANN Board of Directors has officially begun the process to search for and
select ICANN's next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and the ICANN
Board CEO Search Committee wants to hear from you. Visit the Committee's webpage

views on the future of ICANN and what ICANN needs in its next leader.
Expressions of Interest: 2024 NomCom Chair and Chair-Elect
ICANN is seeking Expressions of Interest for the Chair and Chair-Elect of the
2024 Nominating Committee (NomCom). The NomCom Chair is responsible for
organizing the NomCom in its activities to select certain ICANN Board members
and individuals to serve in key leadership positions within ICANN's Supporting
Organizations and Advisory Committees.
An Update From the 2023 Nominating Committee
ICANN’s 2023 Nominating Committee (NomCom) received an unprecedented 155
completed applications for this year's open ICANN leadership positions. From
here, NomCom delegates will undertake a series of steps to evaluate the
applications, all in the goal of announcing the final selectees by August 2023.

recommendations, which focus on Phase 1 questions included in the EPDP Team’s

gTLDs.

Proposed Renewal of the Registry Agreement for .NET
ICANN org is posting for Public Comment the proposed agreement for renewal of
the 2017 .NET Registry Agreement (.NET RA), set to expire on 30 June 2023. The
renewal proposal is a result of bilateral discussions between ICANN and
VeriSign, Inc. (Verisign), the Registry Operator for the .NET and .COM TLDs.
