Membership in the CSFFA has its privileges: You can propose eligible works,
nominate and vote on the awards. You can also help shape the Awards by voting on
proposals for change. All of that for a modest $10 per year.

Membership for 2024 are now available.

PRIX AURORA AWARDS

Since 1980, the Prix Aurora Awards celebrate the best of Canadian Science
Fiction and Fantasy, thanks to the nominations and votes of fans.

CSFFA HALL OF FAME

Since 2014, the CSFFA Hall of Fame honours Canadians who have made great
contributions to the genre of Science Fiction and Fantasy.

OUR CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE 2024 AURORA AWARDS

 * January-February: Aurora Awards Eligibility gathering period – Members can
   bring eligible creators and works to our attention so that they can be
   included in the eligibility list.
   * Eligibility lists closed on February 24, at 23:59 EST
 * March-April: Aurora Awards Nomination period – Members can select creators
   and works from the eligibility list and nominate them for the Aurora Awards
   categories
   * Nominations closed on April 6 at 23:59 EDT
 * May-June: CSFFA Annual General Meeting – Members vote on the administration
   of the Association.
   * Voting on AGM motions will take place from May 18 to May 30 at 23:59 EDT.
   * The Annual General Meeting will take place on June 1.
 * June-July: Aurora Awards Voting period – Members can vote for the creators
   and works shortlisted during the nomination period.
   * Voting will begin on June 8 and close on July 13 at 23:59 EDT
   * Purchasing a CSFFA membership will close on July 6 at 23:59 EDT
 * August: Aurora Awards ceremony – Winning creators and works are revealed
   during the online Aurora Awards ceremony on August 10.
