They sold to the local community, and this was the business for the entire family; after the father passed away and the mother had a stroke, coupled with COVID, the family business was crippled!! My wife and I have taken over this to create an Ember Farm, a project focused on a farm-to-table project focusing on recycling, upcycling, and making an eco-friendly environment. Ember Farm project will eventually set up several restaurant & Bar projects, a farm shop with everything made on-site, from bottled sauces, spice blend, spice paste, cheese, meat, and dairy. The first project is Josie's Place, a family-run restaurant and bar with an open fire cooking concept, and this will also bring work for the community, which will entail buying up farmland to create multiple jobs. Through my podcast, I am using my background as a well-traveled chef, sharing the life stories of my travels, which have been over 30 years over six continents. I will share my experiences in each country, cooking for world leaders, and some funny stories in between.
