EUROPEAN COMMISSION’S NEXTGENERATIONEU GREEN BOND FRAMEWORK



Moody’s ESG Solutions* has provided a Second Party Opinion (SPO) on European
Commission’s NGEU Green Bond Framework.

SPO Summary:

·        Contribution to Sustainability: Robust

·        Expected Impacts: Robust  

·        ESG Risk Management: Advanced

·        Coherence to Sustainability Commitments: Coherent

The Framework has been developed to finance or refinance Eligible Projects in
Eligible Categories including research and innovation activities supporting the
green transition, digital technologies supporting the green transition, energy
efficiency, clean energy and network, climate change adaptation, water- and
waste management, clean transport and infrastructure, nature protection,
rehabilitation and biodiversity, and other.
