   💷 How does the digital advertising sector impact UK consumers? Much of the
   online content and services which we use every day are financially supported
   by digital advertising – from watching a DIY or cooking tutorial, to
   researching new products, looking for a new job, or staying in touch with
   friends on social media. 'The Digital Dividend' report by IAB UK x Public
   First draws on new economic modelling, data analysis and consumer opinion
   research, to measure the value of digital advertising to the UK economy,
   businesses and consumers. As part of this extensive research, Dynata was
   commissioned to conduct a survey among 2,000 UK adults to understand how
   people value the services that rely on digital advertising, and the ways in
   which they directly engage with and benefit from online advertising: ➡ 61% of
   UK consumers say they save money by shopping online rather than in physical
   shops ➡ 44% say that online advertising is helpful when trying to find a new
   product or service ➡ 43% have discovered a local business through an online
   advert ➡ 23% used the internet to learn a new skill in the month prior to the
