Tina Vatanka Murphy

President & Chief Executive Officer


TINA VATANKA MURPHY

PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

For more than two decades, Vatanka Murphy has guided GHX’s vision, mission and
strategic direction, supporting the company’s growth to become the industry’s
largest cloud-based supply chain network. As president and chief executive
officer (CEO), she is leading the charge in helping the healthcare ecosystem
move faster, operate more intelligently and achieve greater outcomes. 

Vatanka Murphy joined GHX shortly after its inception in 2000, rising to
increasingly prominent leadership roles based on her significant contributions
to expanding the company’s business and defining the roadmap for a more
efficient and equitable future for healthcare. 

Prior to being named CEO in 2022, Vatanka Murphy held the position of GHX
division president, Value Based Care, and was instrumental in leading the
company’s award-winning response to the global pandemic in 2020. She prioritized
listening to customers to better understand changing market dynamics, which
resulted in deeper customer partnerships and double-digit growth in 2021. 

Vatanka Murphy previously served as senior vice president, GHX Global Product
and Corporate Development, where she was responsible for architecting a global
product function that led to strong customer retention and double-digit
improvement in customer satisfaction scores. In her prior role as president of
GHX Europe, her decisive leadership helped the company’s European arm
significantly improve customer satisfaction while achieving double-digit
growth. 

Driven by the belief that innovation requires diversity and understanding biases
helps build stronger teams, Vatanka Murphy implemented the GHX Diversity &
Inclusivity Advisory Council. She has instituted multiple initiatives across
GHX, including training more than 700 employees in allyship and nearly 200
managers in unconscious bias. 

Throughout her career, Vatanka Murphy has garnered industry recognition, most
recently named an “Influential Woman in STEM and Technology” by Authority
Magazine, honored as one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s “2020 Women in
Supply Chain,” and earning a Silver Stevie award for “Most Valuable Corporate
Response: COVID-19.” Notably, GHX was ranked 18 in the Healthcare Software
category of the 2023 “Power 500 Technology Companies” award and 19 on the 2022
“Top 100 Healthcare Technology Companies” list by The Healthcare Technology
Report. 

Vatanka Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana
University.  

Chris Batson

Chief Financial Officer


CHRIS BATSON

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

As the chief financial officer (CFO) of GHX, Chris Batson is responsible for
directing the company’s fiscal functions. He also provides strategic leadership
by working with the executive management team to establish long-range goals,
strategies, plans and policies. Batson is committed to maximizing long-term
value for customers and equity holders and fostering growth initiatives. 

Batson brings a unique blend of experience, including extensive experience in
general management, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital
structure management and private and public company management. 

Prior to being named CFO in 2021, Batson served as the company’s Vice-President,
Finance and Accounting. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s
Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Audit, Financial Reporting and
Controllership functions. Before joining GHX, Batson held a variety of C-suite
and senior business and finance leadership functions at organizations such as
ACS Group, Ciber Inc., TeleTech Holdings and NCR Corporation. 

Batson holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and
a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of
Tennessee.  

Heather French

General Counsel


HEATHER FRENCH

GENERAL COUNSEL

As general counsel for GHX, Heather French leads all internal and external
corporate legal functions, including mergers and acquisitions, related board
functions, legal corporate finance, employee relations, risk management, and
internal team leadership and development.  

French is a business-focused legal executive and board advisor with extensive
experience guiding global public and private companies to accelerate growth
while managing threats and complexities. An executive with expertise across the
legal function, she has a strong background in environmental, social and
governance (ESG), diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), regulatory and
compliance issues, private equity, and cross-border transactions. 

French joined GHX in March 2023 from Western Union where she was a senior vice
president and deputy general counsel for legal corporate affairs, litigation &
public policy. Prior to Western Union, she held senior leadership roles with two
publicly traded global alternative asset managers, Ares Management and American
Capital. French joined American Capital from the law firm Akin Gump Strauss
Hauer & Feld where she specialized in complex commercial and technology-related
litigation and employment.   

Her healthcare experience includes work with various pharmaceutical contract
development and manufacturing organizations. She also had extensive involvement
with Scientific Protein Laboratories, a biopharmaceutical company that faced a
product liability crisis, worldwide recall and significant FDA and SFDA
scrutiny. 

French is an active volunteer and leader across a number of organizations,
having served on the Advisory Board for the Vanguard New Leaders Program, as a
mentor for Law School…Yes We Can!, on the Advisory Board for the Georgetown
Corporate Counsel Institute, on the Board and as Treasurer of the Association of
Corporate Counsel National Capital Region, and as a member of the Executive
Leadership Team for Lawyers Have Heart benefitting the American Heart
Association.   

French earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and
her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.  

Rob Alcock

Chief Corporate Development Officer


ROB ALCOCK

CHIEF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

As chief corporate development officer for GHX, Rob Alcock leads corporate
strategy, channel and technology alliances, and all mergers and acquisitions
(M&A) related activity for the company. He is responsible for developing new
capabilities, technologies and architectures through acquisitions, new business
models, new sector structures, and in collaboration with industry partners.  

Alcock is an experienced corporate strategy and development executive, with deep
expertise in driving organic and inorganic growth for B2B technology businesses.
His track record of success ranges from broad-scale enterprise transformations
within public companies, to mid-sized entrepreneurial environments.  

Prior to joining GHX in 2018 as senior vice president and general manager,
Alcock held global leadership positions within Amazon and American Express with
a focus on business strategy, digital distribution, product innovation, solution
deployment, brand marketing, business development, partnerships, and customer
management.  

Alcock is recognized for his expertise in traditional and digital payments,
e-commerce, working capital and procure to pay. He has earned numerous industry
awards, including the highly coveted American Express Chairman's Award for
Innovation. 

Steve Jackson

Chief Revenue Officer


STEVE JACKSON

CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

As chief revenue officer (CRO) for GHX, Steve Jackson is responsible for driving
strategy and execution for the core functions of sales, customer success,
customer adoption and go-to-market operations. On a mission to help make
healthcare more affordable, accessible and people-centered, Jackson works to
unite healthcare providers, suppliers and industry partners, and helps them
realize operational, financial, clinical, and strategic improvements from GHX
solutions and services.  

Jackson joined GHX in 2020 after six years as president of National Research
Corporation (NRC) Health, where he led the growth of NRC’s market capitalization
from $350M to more than $1.5B. During his tenure, employee and customer
satisfaction scores more than doubled.  

Prior to NRC, Jackson was chief strategy officer for Vocera Communications.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at The Advisory Board
Company, Neoforma and Stockamp & Associates. 

Jackson has served as a board member and strategic advisor to several startup
companies. He is passionate about developing future leaders, solving complex
problems, and giving back to the healthcare technology industry. 

Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from the
University of California, Davis.

Archie Mayani

ARCHIE MAYANI

CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at GHX, Archie Mayani drives the design and
development of a contemporary, intelligent and resilient healthcare supply chain
management platform and solutions with a dedicated Product Development team.
This collective effort positions GHX as an agile, customer-centric enterprise on
the global stage. Her collaborative prowess extends across the entire GHX
C-suite, fostering alignment between product innovation and overarching company
strategies for optimal execution. 

Mayani's authentic leadership style is characterized by inclusivity and
inspiration. With an unrelenting passion for healthcare and global health
challenges, she has dedicated over two decades to the field. Her journey started
as a biomedical engineer, igniting her career by crafting an image-guided spinal
surgery application. Through the subsequent years, she undertook a diverse array
of roles spanning product and business domains at influential organizations
including GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, and Milliman Care Guidelines. 

Before her tenure at GHX, which began in 2023, Mayani held the role of Senior
Vice President and Chief Product Officer for Change Healthcare’s Clinical
Decision Support, Revenue Cycle Management and Enterprise Imaging divisions. In
this capacity, she galvanized product development teams, propelling the delivery
of evidence-based clinical content through a unifying technological platform.
The outcome was the facilitation of value-based care for both payors and
providers. She also helped building industry-first, a completely new product
category with cloud-native Enterprise Imaging Platform enabling right diagnosis,
with the right images to the right clinicans, anywhere. 

Her professional journey encompasses an array of pivotal positions, including
Head of Product and Content Operations at Amazon, Vice President/General Manager
steering Optum Prevention Business across North America and Global Markets, and
Senior Director/GM orchestrating Medicaid for Optum Population Health
Management. 

Beyond corporate boundaries, Mayani's influence spans across the global
healthcare landscape. She was recently ranked #8 in Top 50 Women Leaders of SFO
and have won several business and innovation awards in her career. She has
graced prestigious healthcare conferences, podcasts, thought leadership forums
as a speaker, spearheading discussions on cutting-edge ML/AI innovations. Her
contributions extend to shaping healthcare products, influencing local and
state-level healthcare policies, and impacting the healthcare industry through
technology-driven improvements in human health and well-being. Her dedication to
fostering diversity and inclusivity is palpable through her board involvement
with the National Diversity Council, where she champions women of color in
leadership roles. 

Mayani's academic accomplishments include a master's degree in Biomedical
Engineering from the University of Florida, complemented by an MBA with a focus
on Mergers and Acquisitions from the University of Warwick, UK, and Healthcare
administration at Harvard Business School. Her intellectual footprint is evident
in her patents within image processing, and her insights have been showcased
across esteemed scientific journals and publications. 

Chrystie Leonard

Chief Customer Experience Officer


CHRYSTIE LEONARD

CHIEF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OFFICER

As chief customer experience officer (CCXO) for GHX, Leonard is responsible for
building and managing onshore and offshore operations teams, including customer
care, support, delivery, automation, utilization, research and content. She also
provides leadership and oversight for GHX’s Count Inventory Management and
Explorer businesses. Through her work, she supports GHX in delivering both
transformational products and a seamless best-in-class customer experience.  

Leonard brings to the company strong commercial, strategic, operational and
financial leadership, and expertise in creating, accelerating, optimizing and
growing businesses. She has an undeniable passion for developing talent and
fostering innovation with the belief that great results come from putting people
first.  

She joined GHX in 2019 as general manager of GHX Vendormate, helping drive
double digit, year-over-year growth alongside increased customer satisfaction
ratings for the business unit. Through the efforts of Leonard and her team, GHX
earned a 2022 MedTech Breakthrough Award in Compliance Management Innovation for
its Vendormate self-service kiosk solution.  

Leonard founded and operated a multi-location urgent care provider organization,
BestCare Now, and owns Nascent Medical, a medical communications company.
Previously, she held senior leadership roles within Siemens Diagnostics,
Covidien/Medtronic and Bard Medical, leading teams responsible for closing
billion-dollar acquisitions, creating companywide strategic plans, forming new
divisions, developing innovative products, and turning around ailing
businesses. 

In 2021, Leonard was named one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s “Pros to
Know.” She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College, a
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Babson College,
and a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics from
Boston University.

CJ Singh

Chief Technology Officer


CJ SINGH

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

As the chief technology officer (CTO) at GHX, CJ Singh is responsible for all
aspects of the global technology organization, including infrastructure,
business applications, security, product engineering and architecture. An
experienced technology leader, Singh brings expertise and passion for driving
product innovation and building high-performing teams. His strong track record
of successfully building software in large, globally distributed technology
organizations, coupled with his start-up experience makes him an integral
contributor for GHX’s continued growth. 

Prior to joining GHX in 2019, Singh led a global team as CTO at Healthgrades, a
leading online resource for information and data about physicians and hospitals.
Before Healthgrades, he served as CTO at Backcountry.com, an online specialty
retailer. Prior to those positions, Singh held senior roles in product,
technology and engineering at some of the country’s leading tech companies
including Yahoo and Oracle, among others. 

Singh holds a Master of Science in Information System Management from Carnegie
Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science, from
the University of Gulbarga in India. 

Alexis Kearns

ALEXIS KEARNS

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Alexis Kearns serves as the chief people officer (CPO) at GHX. She is a
passionate professional who believes that an organization’s number one
competitive advantage is the high performance of its people. With more than 20
years of executive HR experience, Kearns has dedicated her career to helping
organizations create solutions that unlock that performance. She specializes in
transformational change management, HR strategy, strong organizational cultures,
pre- and post-merger and acquisitions, leadership development, team
effectiveness and executive coaching.   

Kearns has worked in a variety of industries including healthcare, energy,
technology, consumer products, manufacturing, hospitality, public safety, retail
and telecommunications. Prior to joining GHX, Kearns was the senior vice
president of HR for ReedGroup, directing all HR activities for 1,500 employees
in the U.S. and Canada.   

Kearns began her career at Arthur Andersen, where she focused on change
management consulting for technology companies. After leaving Arthur Andersen,
she held executive leadership positions for a start-up division of Level 3
Communications and, later, at GHX. She has extensive experience as an executive
coach, and as an independent team building consultant to C-suite teams across
the country through her work with Tribus Allen Partners.    

Kearns graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Organizational Communication from the University of Illinois at
Champaign-Urbana. She was recognized by the Denver Business Journal as one of
the “Top 40 under 40” leaders within the community. 

Laura Dunbar

Senior Vice President, Communications & Corporate Sustainability


LAURA DUNBAR

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, COMMUNICATIONS & CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

Laura Dunbar joined the company in 2018, bringing more than two decades of
marketing leadership experience concentrated in healthcare and IT-related
organizations. 

Prior to joining GHX, Dunbar served as vice president of Marketing at
GetWellNetwork, a leading provider of patient engagement technology solutions.
She has also held marketing and leadership roles at West Corporation, as vice
president of Marketing Strategy for the healthcare practice, and VMware, where
she led product marketing for the company’s IT Business Management and IT
Benchmarking solutions. 

Dunbar holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of
Colorado at Colorado Springs and a master’s degree in Business Administration
for Marketing from San Jose State University.

As president of GHX Europe, Nedzad Fajic directs the European leadership team,
leads the company's European operations and supports customer success. Fajic
expanded the footprint of GHX in Europe through regional growth and product
extension initiatives. He successfully serves healthcare manufacturer and
provider customers and helps to lower supply chain costs through automation,
accuracy and efficiency throughout the European market. During his tenure, GHX
Europe won the Healthcare Supply Chain Solution Company of the Year 2013 Award
from Frost & Sullivan, in Paris. 

Fajic brings more than 20 years of IT and leadership experience with some of
Europe's largest and most successful companies. Before joining GHX, Fajic was
the regional vice president at Infor Global Solutions for Central Europe. Prior
to that he led, as vice president, SAP’s channel business in DACH for several
years and spent seven years at Siemens in different vice president and managing
director roles. Fajic started his career in Finance at Deutsche Telekom in
Germany. 

In 2011, Fajic was voted one of the 100 most influential people working in
technology in Germany (by an independent jury under the supervision of IDG
Business Media/Channel Partner). 

Fajic earned a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University
of Cologne, received a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the University
Politehnica of Bucharest and completed the Executive Doctor of Business
Administration program at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
