JOHN THE DIVINE EPISCOPAL CHURCH Where we are dedicated to building a faith community that embodies the love of Christ — love and kindness to all. At our church, we believe in the importance of building strong relationships with one another and with God. Join Us WHO WE ARE OUR RECTOR: THE REVEREND KAREN CUFFIE Karen began her ministry at St. John’s in 2020. She attended Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, CA, and was ordained to the priesthood in 2016. Prior to ordained ministry, Karen was an elementary music school teacher, served five years on active duty in the USAF, and began a long, challenging career raising five children as a stay-at-home mom. Her family is uniquely diverse, which has helped form her theology around beloved community. Karen graduated from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA, and Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, CA. She loves to sing, play piano, do jigsaw puzzles, and play with her grandchildren. We belong to the Diocese of El Camino Real under Bishop Lucinda Ashby. Our Diocese YOU ARE INVITED TO WORSHIP SUNDAYS AT 10AM Join us on Sundays at 10am for traditional worship, fellowship, and an after-service Coffee Hour! We share our priest, Reverend Karen Cuffie, with St. Stephen’s in the Field Episcopal Church in San Jose, and she alternates Sundays between our two churches. When Rev. Karen is at St. Stephen’s, we welcome a visiting priest at St. John the Divine. Rev.
