THE MARITIME HUMANITARIAN AID FOUNDATION (MHAF) ENABLES THE PROVISION OF
HUMANITARIAN AID AND RECONSTRUCTION SUPPORT TO COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY CONFLICT,
NATURAL DISASTER AND POVERTY AROUND THE WORLD.

Whether it’s food, clean water, or medical supplies, our donor-initiated
approach bridges the gap between funders and humanitarian organisations to
facilitate the delivery of critical supplies and support to those most
desperately in need in the most challenging environments.

At present, our focus is to support efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis
in Gaza. Via our operational partner Fogbow, we have established a robust and
secure maritime aid corridor from Cyprus to Gaza to deliver aid at scale.
Throughout this project, we are working with our humanitarian partners and in
regular coordination with the United Nations and the humanitarian community to
provide this service free of charge.

OUR MISSION


WE SERVE AS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN CRISIS-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES, HUMANITARIAN
PARTNERS, AND IMPACT-FOCUSED DONORS, BY FACILITATING THE DELIVERY OF FOOD AND
ESSENTIAL HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST.


LEADERSHIP


CAMERON HUME

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Cameron Hume is the Executive Director of the Maritime Humanitarian Aid
Foundation. Cameron is a former U.S. diplomat with over three decades of
expertise, having previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Algeria, South Africa,
and Indonesia. Prior to his ambassadorships, Cameron was a career Foreign
Service Officer in the U.S. State Department, with postings to the United
Nations, Italy, Tunisia, and Syria.


PETER O’DRISCOLL

DIRECTOR

Peter O’Driscoll is a Director at the Maritime Humanitarian Aid Foundation.
Peter is an experienced transactional lawyer with a focus on emerging markets
and impact investment. He has spent over thirty years in leading international
law firms, and serves as General Counsel of Seacrest Petroleo. Peter is also
Chair of International Health Partners (IHP), Europe’s largest donated medicines
NGO.


NARO ZIMMERMAN

DIRECTOR

Naro Zimmerman is a Director at the Maritime Humanitarian Aid Foundation. Naro
has over twenty years of experience in the fiduciary industry across the UK,
MENA, and Americas. Naro is the Deputy Head of Private Client Services for JTC’s
Caribbean offices and has previously served as a director for Fortune 500
companies and sovereign wealth portfolio companies.
