HOW CAN I TRACK MY REMITLY TRANSFER?

USE THIS ARTICLE TO LEARN HOW TO CHECK YOUR REMITLY TRANSFER STATUS, FIND YOUR
REFERENCE NUMBER, AND UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR TRANSFER STATUS MEANS.

Answer

Your Remitly transfer status helps you understand where your money is and when
it's going to arrive. Use this article for information on checking your transfer
status, finding your reference number, and understanding what your transfer
status means.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY TRANSFER STATUS?

Follow these instructions to find the status of your transfer:

 

Using the Remitly app
Open the Remitly app and sign in to your Remitly profile. Your most recent
transfers will be included in the Home tab. Select the transfer to get more
details, including your reference number and more status information. If you
want to view your transfer history, select View all.

 

 

Using Remitly.com

Sign in to your Remitly profile and select Transfer history from the menu. You
can review your entire transfer history and filter for transfers that are in
progress or delivered.

 

 

Messages from Remitly

Whenever there's an update to your transfer we'll send you an email, a text
message, or a notification from the Remitly app. These notifications will
include your transfer's reference number.

 


WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND MY REFERENCE NUMBER IN MY TRANSFER HISTORY?

If you send to multiple countries, you may not be able to find your complete
transfer history when you sign in to the app. If your transfer history isn't
available or you don’t find the transfer you’re expecting, you may need to
change the country you're sending to by following these steps in the Remitly
app:

 1. Select the My Remitly tab.
 2. Select Sending to.
 3. Choose your transfer's destination country from the list.

 


I'M SENDING A TRANSFER — WHERE CAN I FIND MY REFERENCE NUMBER?

The reference number for tracking your transfer is included at the top of the
transfer details page, right after your recipient's name.




I'M RECEIVING A TRANSFER — WHERE CAN I FIND MY REFERENCE NUMBER?

Your reference number to track your transfer is included in the text message you
receive from Remitly. If you didn't receive a text message from Remitly, ask
your sender to share the reference number. 

 

Note: If you're receiving your transfer at a cash pickup location, you will need
the reference number to collect your money.  If need more help, you can learn

WHAT DOES MY TRANSFER STATUS MEAN?

If you're tracking your transfer, you might notice the status changes from time
to time. If you aren't sure what the statuses mean, review the following details
for more information:

 

Canceled

Your transfer can't be completed and your money is being refunded if you were
charged. If you're not sure why your transfer was canceled, find out more in our
troubleshooting article about canceled transfers.

 

In Review

We need some time to review your transfer to make sure it complies with
regulations and our user agreement. We'll contact you over the phone, email, or
text message to let you know if we need any additional information from you.
Learn more in our article about why Remitly might review your transfer.

 

On Hold

We need your help to complete your transfer. We may need you to help us fix an
error with your transfer information or upload documents to verify your
identity. Find out more about why Remitly might ask for your information to
complete a transfer.

 

In Progress

Everything is on track! Your transfer is scheduled to arrive by the promised
delivery date.

 

Ready for Pickup

Your transfer is ready for your recipient to collect at their local cash pickup
location. Until they collect their money, you can still edit your transfer to
select another delivery method or choose a new pickup location.

 

Delivered

Your money has been successfully delivered to your recipient. If your transfer
status is Delivered, but your recipient hasn't received their money, find out
what you can do.
