* home * About Us * Services * Activities * contactus * * العربية * English Previous Next * 1 * 2 * 3 ABOUT US Darna for Social Welfare is a non-profit organization concerned with providing social, psychological, and health care services to the infirm and elderly, providing shelter, protection, and food security for them, and integrating them with the rest of society to rid them of feelings of loneliness and isolation, through activities and events inside and outside the specialized centers that the organization has currently established in the Damascus countryside governorate. It seeks to provide its services on all Syrian lands, licensed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Syria by Resolution No. 555 dated 2/28/2022. SERVICES All accommodation services for the elderly A food schedule and healthy meals that belong to every elderly person Comprehensive 24-hour nursing services Periodic medical examinations inside the home by a number of specialist doctors Psychological and social care and various activities inside and outside the home Care services for non-residents within the institution in the Damascus countryside governorate ACTIVITIES ACT 7 des 7 More DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND LABOR IN RURAL DAMASCUS, HOSTED BY DARNA The Director of Social Affairs and Labor in the Rural Damascus, Ms. Fatima Rashid, visited the Darna Foundation for Social Welfare and met with the administration and staff working at the institution and provided the necessary advice and guidance for the house to raise the level of service and to continue providing protection and care to the elderly in the required manner. Mrs. Rashid also met with a number of inmates from the home and praised the services provided to them and exchanged conversations with them. Her visit had a good impact on their hearts and the hearts of the home’s workers.
