ABOUT US


Build Easy Money got it's start from my own frustrations of working a job that
wasn't fulfilling to me.  How working a "regular" job just didn't feel right. 
How I knew that I needed to find a better way of generating income which would
allow me a lot more opportunity to do what I really enjoy doing, helping other
people.



But that's jumping into the middle of the story.  I should probably start at the
beginning.



My name is Mike Blackwell and I've always struggled with fitting in.  Whether it
was making friends in school or working a regular 9 to 5 job, I never really
felt like I belonged.  That also made it a bit hard for me to fit into any kind
of structure and discipline.



When I first read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, I thought to myself,
"Wow.  I can do this.  This is where I belong."  I then began to devour
everything and anything that had to do with building businesses and becoming
financially free.



I started a construction business because I always liked working with my hands
and wanted to help people in an area where I had a lot of skill in.  Through all
this, I continued with my financial education, reading book after book and going
to class after class, seminar after seminar.



When March 2020 came around, it became harder and harder to get clients.  I was
working on a house doing some remodeling when the client asked us to not come
back the next day.  They took their kids out of school and battened down the
hatches.





While I was reading book after book about business, I had read a book by Tim
Ferriss called The 4-Hour Workweek­.  A lightbulb went off in my head as I
pondered "Can I really do this?  Can I really work 4 hours in a week and make
enough money that I'm able to spend as much time as I want to help people?" That
answer, as I researched other people "Hacking the System", getting more done in
less time,  was an absolute yes.



So I then decided that I needed to find a way to make money that didn't depend
on anyone but myself.  A way that I was in full control over.  A way that didn't
depend on whether the market went up or down.  Where it didn't matter if I even
wanted to work at all the next day because my income was on autopilot.  (Of
course logging in everyday helps keep things on course.)

So why Build Easy Money?



For the word "Build", with my background in construction, I know the
satisfaction of building something I can be proud of.  And I really like helping
people.  So I decided to help people build systems that would enable them to
build their own futures.  Yes, it does take work to build the system.  There's
nothing more satisfying than building your own future.







The word "Easy", because once the system is up and running, it's easy to
maintain it.  That's it really.  There's not much more to say about it.  It's
that easy.



And the word "Money"?  Well, you're not building a system to harvest avocadoes,
pumpkins, or tomatoes.  You're building a system to harvest money.  You're
building for yourself, and your family, a means to live a fuller and richer
life.  Where you'll be able to purchase things for, and go on adventures with,
your family.  And more avocadoes, pumpkins, or tomatoes if you so choose.
