Camera resolution is great. I'll caveat that with the fact that it's still a
webcam...doesn't do great in low-light situations, and since most people face
the wall with their computers just be aware of the nearest light source.
Autofocus isn't an issue, assuming you aren't trying to focus on anything within
6 inches of the lens.I included an image with Microsoft Teams' blur background
effect because I think it works fantastic with this camera.

Update: looks like the latest version of Logitune has the option available now.

The webcam ships with the microphone disabled. It requires a utility from
Logitech called "LogiTune" in order to enable it (a one-time process). You *can*
download LogiTune for Mac, but it does not have the feature in it to enable your
microphone. I contacted support and they said they are working on that feature
for LogiTune, but for now, the only way you can enable the microphone is by
using a Windows computer. I did not have access to a Windows computer, but I was
able to get the microphone enabled using a Virtual Machine on my Mac (Windows 10
running in VirtualBox). Once you enable the microphone once on Windows, it works
fine on Mac from then on. Just a warning for any other Mac users out there.

If I could write ZERO stars, I would. Why on earth did logitech shorten their
cord? It's too short for my system. My old one that I have had for nearly 10
years is a full foot longer and that's what I need. This won't work! All the
information I have read online says that it won't work with a usb extender
either. A cord that is too long is not usually a problem, but a cord that is too
short is a HUGE issue and a non-starter in this situation. Super bummed. Would
love the camera, but it won't even fit atop my monitor because the cord is too
short.

Purchased camera for home office after buying a Logitech C920S Pro for the
office. Comparable design and quality. Mid-range camera; reasonable for the
price based on other cameras on the market. Picture quality and color rendition
are very good, microphone does an acceptable job. Autofocus does hunt
occasionally, especially if you move frequently but is tolerable. After several
weeks use and multiple teleconferences, comments are mostly positive from the
other end. Disappointed Logitech software (Logitech Capture) does not support
this camera. This is not listed in the sales listing for the camera; it is
buried in the support documents for the software. Logitech support offers a
response confirming this incompatibility, suggesting the generic Windows 10
software does connect to this camera. While true, this is hardly a suitable
replacement (not that Capture is a great package, but the features it offers are
better than Windows). There is a fix, though it could be technically
challenging. We were able to make the configuration modification and adapt the
Capture software sufficiently for our use. At this point, after only a few weeks
use, would likely purchase the camera again if another unit was necessary. May
be subject to change after time, however!

It ought to prioritize whatever's in the center of the screen, but it doesn't
always seem to. The autofocus clearly favors straight lines, meaning it will
often focus on the background and leave me blurry. If you sit close to your
monitor it will probably be fine because you'll take up more of the screen. If
you expect to be somewhat smaller on screen, beware! It will try to refocus
often and may prefer to focus on the straight lines of furniture or a doorway.
The picture quality is acceptable, but a bit grainy in a normal
nighttime-with-lights-on setting. The color and contrast are slightly hyped,
which is probably good for most things.

Camera resolution is great. I'll caveat that with the fact that it's still a
webcam...doesn't do great in low-light situations, and since most people face
the wall with their computers just be aware of the nearest light source.
Autofocus isn't an issue, assuming you aren't trying to focus on anything within
6 inches of the lens.
I included an image with Microsoft Teams' blur background effect because I think
it works fantastic with this camera.

After a year of people telling me that they couldn't hear me well on business
calls unless I pulled the computer REALLY close, I broke down and bought this.
Wow, what a difference. Sound is great, picture is much better. I paired it with
a tripod (under 15 bucks on Amazon) and I just grab it before Teams calls.
Webcame automatically takes over as default, and I have great picture AND great
microphone in seconds. Best of all, I no longer have to unhook my docking port
like I had to before because the in-computer microphone won't work while
computer is docked. Should have been one of my first work-from-home purchases.
Just nice all around.

Good camera for the price, easy to set up. My only complain is the listing shows
the Logitech Capture App in the pictures. This camera is not compatible with the
App.

This is the worst webCam I’ve ever had. The mic cannot be recognized by
Mac/Windows when plugged in. On the package it suggested to download the Logi
Tune software. I tried that on both Mac and Windows but still can't get the mic
to work. Already returned.

Bad out of the box. wavy flicker issue. Not as sharp as my 15 year old 720p
logitech camera.
Logitech product page does not mention the "Tune" app for optimizing the camera.
- the Logi Tune app is helpful, but the image quality should be better right off
the bat without this manual tuning app.
Logitech mentions a "Logi Capture" app on their website, but it only works as a
screen capture. It couldnt see the camera. Also wanted a user login for some
reason - why?

No software instructions on setting it up.
