                    <p>This Brand new Roadway Safety Forum: East Coast, hosted in partnership wth Virginia, Chesapeake and Carolinas ATSSA Chapters, will host a variety of education sessions focusing on regional issues and solutions for the roadway
                      safety infrastructure industry.<br>
                      <br> This regional event is targeted for roadway infrastructure safety professionals and transportation officials from Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The
                      conference connects business leaders, government officials, subcontractors, manufacturers, corporate roadway department personnel, and all disciplines involved in nearly every aspect of roadway infrastructure safety.<br>
                      <br> Education will focus on trends, innovation projects and regulatory changes specific to this region of the country. ATSSA invites you to contribute to the 2023 Roadway&nbsp;Safety Forum by submitting an education session
                      proposal that reflects the best thinking in the filed, informed by theory and research, and proven best practices. We are pleased to receive proposals that explore the many important&nbsp;ways to improve roadway safety from a
                      strategic and operational perspective, as well as through a tactical approach.<br>
                      <strong>We welcome proposals that:</strong>
                    </p>
                    <ul>
                      <li>Include multiple industry perspectives.</li>
                      <li>Address the importance of roadway infrastructure safety from a strategic standpoint.</li>
                      <li>Explore the role of technological innovations in the industry.</li>
                      <li>Speak to new regulations and real-time issues specific to this region</li>
                      <li>Preview industry trends for which to prepare from Delaware to South Carolina.</li>
                      <li>Identify good practices and cost-effective safety solutions.</li>
                      <li>Look at ways to improve worker safety.</li>
                      <li>Effective workforce development practices.</li>
                      <li>Explore essential business practices such as operations, strategic planning, legal concerns, media and crisis training, supervisory and leadership skills, new contract management, hiring and retaining qualified employees,
                        etc.</li>
                    </ul>
                    <p><strong>Speaker Responsibilities</strong><br> All accepted speakers must agree to the following rules and responsibilities:</p>

                      <li>Meet all posted dates/deadlines and submit all required items (bio, photo, etc.)</li>
                      <li>Register for Roadway Safety Forum.</li>
                      <li>Cover own travel expenses (travel, lodging, incidentals, etc.)**</li>
                      <li>Meet all Forum-related due dates and deadlines</li>

Call for Proposals
American Traffic Safety Services Association
Roadway Safety Forum: East Coast
May 16-18, 2023 • Greater Richmond Convention Center
Submission Deadline: March 6, 2023

This Brand new Roadway Safety Forum: East Coast, hosted in partnership wth
Virginia, Chesapeake and Carolinas ATSSA Chapters, will host a variety of
