We bought twenty-nine Leylandiis with little previous experience of planting trees. Employee Paul was extremely helpful giving advice over the phone and in person at our appointment. The Shears family – Sep 2020 * Paul was friendly, clearly amazingly knowledgeable about his subject and was keen to ask us lots of questions about our circumstances and what we had planned for our garden. Following an initial discussion we went on a very extensive tour of the trees available and then moved further into the fields where the trees are grown. An hour flew by and some of our initial plans were confirmed and others changed based on the excellent advice from Paul. Coming away we just had to debate a couple of options but having seen the quality of the plants/trees on offer we knew we would be ordering. I have today ordered 12 Portuguese Laurel standard trees, a wonderful Chicago Fire and a massive pot for the Chicago fire to live in. We knew very little before we went to Green Mile but came away fully informed and very happy. I give 10/10 for Green Mile Trees. The driver, called Frazer, was again tarred with the same brush – he was the most helpful person you could ever wish for, his manner and personality was second to none a rare commodity today. The service has been par excellence from visiting the site to choosing our trees, their patience during a delay at our end, when I sustained an ankle injury, and finally the delivery and planting. John & Katie – Jan 2020 * In a third planting session after two successful earlier phases, 6 years prior, we started another copse and planted several specimen trees. Chris and colleague inspected in the first instance, advised on what was best to plant given our difficult terrain and exposure and then did all the agreed work leaving the place clean, tidy and with watering instructions. We are very grateful for all their help and highly recommend them. C W of Grantham * We chose Green Mile Trees for very good value and proximity to our new home. We visited and Chris took us around the trees – a lovely sight even in winter and you could see they were good quality. You can only choose the container grown trees yourself but we were not disappointed with their selection of the rootballed trees. One was damaged in transit and was replaced without question. The team that planted the trees and mature hedging were very considerate and did a good job. We would be happy to use them again.
