PACKAGE TRAVEL DIRECTIVE



If you book additional travel services for your trip or vacation on this
platform, you will not benefit from rights applying to packages under Directive
(EU) 2015/2302.

For this reason, American Airlines won't be responsible for the performance of
those additional travel services. For any problems, please contact the relevant
service provider.

However, if you book additional travel services on this platform within 24 hours
after receiving the confirmation of the booking from American Airlines, those
travel services will become part of a linked travel arrangement. As required by
EU law, American Airlines has protections in place to refund your payments to
American Airlines for services not performed because of American Airlines's
insolvency, and, where necessary, for your repatriation. Note: this does not
provide a refund in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service
provider.

American Airlines has taken out insolvency protection with Internatioinal
Passenger Protection Limited (IPP) Travellers may contact this entity or, where
applicable, the competent authority (International Passenger Protection Limited
(IPP), 22-26 Station Road West Wickham Kent BR4 OP United
Kingdom, www.ipplondon.co.uk/claims.asp and UK 44(0)345 266 1872) if the
services are denied because of American Airlines's insolvency.

Note: This insolvency protection does not cover contracts with parties other
than American Airlines, which can be performed despite American Airlines's
insolvency.
