CALENDER REHASH.

Hello Everybody!

Frontpage calendar is being rehashed to show events from all shards, and is
currently to be considered in beta phase.

Features to come is to elaborate on timezone (maybe include the local time and
zone for the eventshard), The timezone shown now is UTC by default or whatever
you set it to in your User Control Panel.

If you experience any issues with it, such as:

* Time/Date Incorrect
* Links not working
* Other errors

Please Contact us!

Known issues:
[Tentatively Fixed] [Investigating Further] Issue where local shard time
sometimes is off by an hour. The converted time and countdown should still be
accurate. Feedback requested if you still discover issues.
[Fixed] The day shows by default a day sooner for most NA based events, since
the default time zone is UTC (white time), where as the grey time (shard local
time), does not indicate sufficiently the day change. IE Tuesday 02:00 UTC, with
a local shard time of Monday 21:00 EST. Thinking of a fix that doesn't break the
display format. But will highly recommend setting your local time zone in UCP.
[Fixed] Local Shard time zones may display in their daylight saving variants,
IE. EDT instead of EST, despite the fact EST is the correct one, and the time
should be correct.

DEKSTOP SUIT CALCULATOR

Introducing Desktop Suit Calculator, this is a windows desktop application to
put together an entire suit of armor, and get the combined value of (all) stats.

We all know it can be quite the challenge to remember everything when building a
suit, and you find this pair of super gloves that will be perfect, but now you
are 2% LMC Short

The calculator allows you do try it out in a "virtual" environment, with an
interface that gives you the information you need in a glance.

As this a new piece of development, you may encounter issues or thing not
working as intended. Please do use the Contact Form and select "Desktop Suit
Calculator", to report any bugs or feedback to it.

MAP HOSTING UPDATE

Greetings Sosarians

A little update on the map server hosting situation provided by us.

We have recieved quite a few requests on providing Cartographer servers. While
we would love to do this, we are restricted by the server software. restricting
it to one instance per machine due to the software's implemtation of .NET
framework. Making it not a valid option to host with our setup.

However, You can now get an Ultima Mapper server. By using the Contact Form, and
including the following information:


* Prefered Networkname (could be guild abbreations or similar)


* Prefered password (make it unique)

technical glitch, but it should be corrected!

HOST CHANGE INFORMATION.

Greetings Sosarians

Our site, and associated services, may be unavailable for some hours around
December 3rd around 2AM GMT, 3 AM CET, 9 PM EST (Dec 2nd).

Reason is that we are changing our host provider. Not that we are unsatisfied
with the one we have been using for the past 10 years. But due to our current
host, has been sold, to the one we are moving to.

We hope to make the move as seamless as possible. But apologize for any
inconvenience in advance.
