EUNICE ANTEH

Public Health Researcher, Social Innovator, and Entrepreneur


ABOUT

Eunice has a multi-disciplinary background in women’s health, refugee & migrant
issues, social innovation, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, program
development, and creating and analyzing health databases.

Eunice is the Co-Founder of The Feminist Health Blog, an initiative committed to
improving the health and well-being of women and girls through research,
advocacy, and education. She was inspired by witnessing the inequalities faced
by vulnerable populations, especially women, children and people with
disabilities in her home country, Ghana.

She holds a Master’s in health sciences from the University of Lethbridge,
Canada and a Bachelor’s in Health Services Administration from the University of
Ghana. Eunice is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban Studies at Heriot-Watt
University, UK.

As a community development activist, she engages in advocacy and collaborative
actions with local organizations including Youth Opportuniy & Transformation in
Africa (YOTA), Ad Astra Foundation, Proffer Aid International Foundation (PAIF)
and Immigrant Men and Family Network Canada.

Eunice believes in creativity for social change and sustainable tools for
solving community challenges and development. In her pastimes, she enjoys
cooking, music, travelling, dancing, beekeeping, crafts and arts, and graphic
design.
