USES FOR DISC MAGNETS
Disc magnets are defined as a round magnet with a larger diameter dimension than
their height dimension. In contrast to this a cylinder magnet is the reverse;
where the height is greater than the diameter. Disc magnets are well suited to
holding applications as their low profile lends them good resistance to
dislodgement. They are less prone to being knocked off due to shearing forces.
Ferrite disc magnets are commonly used as fridge magnets or whiteboard magnets.
These magnets require more magnetic material to achieve the same strength of
