MISO MARINATED SALMON (SALMON MISOZUKE)

Unlike Saikyo Yaki Fish and Nobu’s Miso Marinated Black Cod Recipe, the marinade
for Miso Marinated Salmon (Salmon Misozuke) is not very sweet. The prominent
miso flavour of the fish makes this dish somewhat simple and humble compared to
Saikyo Yaki dishes. It is also a more economical and easy way of making miso
marinated fish since you can buy normal miso from supermarkets at low cost.

The miso used in Miso Marinated Salmon is much cheaper than Saikyo miso. It is
quite a tasty dish and not as sweet as Saikyo Yaki Fish. It goes extremely well

SPECIAL OCCASION DUMPLING RECIPE (FLOWER SHUMAI)

I named today’s shumai recipe Special Occasion Dumpling. Although it uses almost
the same ingredients as my Shumai recipe (shao mai) and is cooked in the same
way, today’s dumpling looks like a flower with a wow factor. It is not only
visually attractive but also delicious – a perfect crowd pleaser. The flavour
is…

HOMEMADE PICKLED SUSHI GINGER (GARI)

I recently saw a pile of young ginger at an Asian grocery store, so I decided to

of heat that comes from the ginger. It is…

for slicing the fish fillet, but once you get the idea, it’s…

IMITATION TOFU OMELETTE (GISEI TOFU)

Imitation Tofu Omelette (Gisei Tofu) is a Japanese omelette with tofu and
vegetables mixed into it. Although I call it an omelette, it is not made like a
standard omelette in a frying pan. The cooking method is closer to a frittata,
but the shape of the omelette is a block like tofu instead of…

KARAAGE CHICKEN LOLLIPOPS

Karaage Chicken Lollipops are a fancy form of Karaage Chicken. They are crispy
on the outside and juicy on the inside. As the name suggests, a chicken lollipop
comes with a bone as a stick, attached to the meat that is shaped into a ball.
My Karaage Chicken Lollipops are made with chicken wingettes by…

SIMMERED BAMBOO SHOOTS WITH WAKAME SEAWEED

Simmered Bamboo Shoots with Wakame Seaweed is one of a representative spring

Prepare Fresh Bamboo Shoots, bamboo shoots are a seasonal vegetable and new
shoots come out in…
