It's actually SURPRISINGLY easy. It's all about balance. But, like any other
skill, it takes a bit of getting used to.
At first, you can start by kneeling on your paddleboard, then as you begin to
feel confident you can get up on your feet and enjoy a new perspective on the
water. There’s nothing quite like it!
Learning to paddle was life changing for me. I love introducing more people to

This was my first SUP so I had a lot of questions about which board would be
best for me for my size, fitness level, where I would be paddling and ability to
travel with it. The seller replied to my questions via telephone within 10
minutes of receiving my e-mail. They spent a significant amount of time
providing advice and information. I took all of that on and bought this board.
It arrived on time and in excellent condition. I have left it inflated for 4
days at 15psi and it has not let out any air at all I have been out twice in the
sea. I live in Portsmouth and we get some pretty strong currents and crosswinds
rather than large waves. The board was very firm and stable even with passengers
on the back. I am a complete beginner so cannot really comment on
maneuverability but I was able to turn around boats and bouys despite the
current and the wind and an adult passenger on the back. The board is excellent
quality for the price which comes at the expense of the accessories. The pump
and paddle work well but you can tell that all of the money has gone on the
board, which the seller told me themselves on the phone, but frankly were still
better quality than I was expecting and have seen elsewhere. I cannot rate this
board enough! It is the best money I have ever spent. At only 12kg I will be
taking it with me to Indonesia in a few months and we are considering buying a
second one.

Beginner SUPer here...went on a lesson and knew I'd absolutely love it but
promised my other half I wouldn't buy a paddleboard until I'd tried it. Cue 1
hour later when I was on amazon ordering one! Read a lot of reviews and was
looking for something that didn't break the bank as a beginner as good quality
paddleboards are pretty expensive. HIKS were really helpful in terms of customer
service as I initially thought the gauge was broken as couldn't see what the SUP
was inflating to, but I just hadn't fully screwed the gauge on. Easy enough to
inflate once you've done it once or twice and I can get it up in around 7
minutes or so now. It's so sturdy and stable, you'd never guess it was
inflatable! Haven't been on the sea yet but am paddling regularly on the canal
and several lakes and thoroughly enjoying. It's super relaxing, the SUP handles
well, no issues with the paddle. Folding it back down to get it into the back is
a bit of an art but I feel I'm getting the hang of it now! All in all, I'm
really impressed and have convinced several friends to try SUP and they all want
to get their own boards now. I'd definitely recommend HIKS paddleboards!

Great board for the money. I'd hired a board a couple of times last year but
wanted to get my own. This board sounded like a great start for a beginner. I
was very impressed with the build quality of the board. A little difficult to
inflate to the full PSI although most boards are, thankfully I keep mine
inflated. A mate and I swapped boards to compare and whilst their board (very
similar in terms of length width and depth) felt a little more stable to the
HIKS board it did feel sluggish. I much prefer this board as it glides over the
water better. Even handles the kids (7&5) when they keep still! Good adjustable
paddle and sturdy Leash. Haven't taken it out in the sea yet. All in all, great
beginners board and value for money.

What a purchase!! I would recommend this to anyone. We were looking for a value
SUP board, mainly because spending nearly £800 on a branded board just seemed
ridiculous for what we wanted one for - we wanted a board to go up and down the
local canal and occasionally in the sea. I would recommend this for all adults,
I would even advise that even if your weight/height looks okay for the smaller
board that HIKS offered, I would go bigger and choose this one. The smaller
board is more for kids - I trialled a smaller board and it did dip a little in
the middle (and I’m within the recommended weight) - I’m much more stable and
enjoy the larger board. HIKS were fantastic throughout the purchase and swap of
my board from the smaller to the larger one - really responsive and helpful. If
you’re unsure, it’s worth giving them a call. If you’re looking for a SUP
especially if you’re a beginner and just want to get out and get started
(without paying over the odds) I can highly recommend. Don’t be put off my any
comments that might recommend a branded board (e.g RED boards) it’s not worth it
unless you’re pro. We’ve gone out a few times now on the local canal and we’ve
even adventured to the sea on our boards out to Old Harry’s Rocks and back from
Studland. We upgraded the leash after we purchased with a spiral cord which I
would recommend doing - (£5 each off eBay can’t complain!) - 3 stars in
inflation because, yes it’s manual, and takes maybe 10/15 minutes - we are
looking into an electric pump but you’ll be pumping by hand what ever board you
buy!

Always wanted to give this a go. Tried surfing. I’m not a surfer. I’m 16 1/2
Stone and I wanted something to enjoy on the water. Saw one of these on holiday
but didn’t try it. Saw the price of some of these and anything over £320 is too
much for a beginner. This offered the best price for what is a great product. It
arrived and I couldn’t wait to inflate it. The stirrup pump had a small issue,
immediately resolved by the company. Manually inflating is not for the feint
hearted. It can be done but if you invest in a quality electric pump you’ll be
glad you did. First time out I tried it at Woolacombe Beach North Devon. Very
little wind but there were waves and that caused me problems. However kneeling
was possible so I was able to paddle a bit whilst experiencing balancing. You
need calm water when starting off for the first time. I’d also recommend you
look on YouTube to see the helpful videos on learning the basics. I also got a
buoyancy jacket which could be a lifesaver if you fall off in deep water and
getting back on isn’t as easy as you thought. Great board great price ideal
beginners board & very easy to set up.

I did a lot if research into paddle boards before buying this one. I was
skeptical at the price as to whether it would be as good as the more expensive
ones however, I am yet to be disappointed! I have gone out in the sea with it
twice now and its amazing! obviously I won't be able to tell how well built it
is or how long its going to last but so far its surpassed my expectations. The
material is strong and tough and the board is rock solid when inflated. It takes
about 10 minutes to inflate but i'm not the strongest and its well worth the
wait! Everything seems to be good quality so hopefully will last a long time. I
will write another review after using it some more but first impressions are
that its a very good purchase!

We bought 2 of these a few months ago and with the warm weather have taken then
out twice this weekend. The pump that comes with them is fine, but it takes
around 10 mins to get to 15psi. Once pumped up you just put the fin on the back
and off you go. You’d never know they are inflatable once it’s inflated, and
once on the water they are great fun. I’ve never paddle boarded before but
having done a lot of research these are perfect - I’m 6’3” and around 14 stone
and it seems stable and easy to use. The quality of the product, pump and paddle
is good. Very happy with it, would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic board... it blows up to be absolutely solid!! All of my 3
children and I enjoy it! The pump did break 3 months before the warranty ran out
but as it was the end of the summer holidays I put it away promising to get it
sorted... life took over and when we got the board out to use this half term (10
days after the warranty ran out) we remembered we had a broken pump... HOWEVER!
I emailed the company and they were extremely helpful and understanding and sent
us a new pump... I have very happy children again.... and a great example of
faith in humanity... thank you!! Highly recommend this board and the company!!

This was my first SUP so I had a lot of questions about which board would be
best for me for my size, fitness level, where I would be paddling and ability to
travel with it. The seller replied to my questions via telephone within 10
minutes of receiving my e-mail. They spent a significant amount of time
providing advice and information. I took all of that on and bought this board.
It arrived on time and in excellent condition. I have left it inflated for 4
days at 15psi and it has not let out any air at all I have been out twice in the
sea. I live in Portsmouth and we get some pretty strong currents and crosswinds
rather than large waves. The board was very firm and stable even with passengers
on the back. I am a complete beginner so cannot really comment on
maneuverability but I was able to turn around boats and bouys despite the
current and the wind and an adult passenger on the back. The board is excellent
quality for the price which comes at the expense of the accessories. The pump
and paddle work well but you can tell that all of the money has gone on the
board, which the seller told me themselves on the phone, but frankly were still
better quality than I was expecting and have seen elsewhere. I cannot rate this
board enough! It is the best money I have ever spent. At only 12kg I will be
taking it with me to Indonesia in a few months and we are considering buying a
second one.

Beginner SUPer here...went on a lesson and knew I'd absolutely love it but
promised my other half I wouldn't buy a paddleboard until I'd tried it. Cue 1
hour later when I was on amazon ordering one! Read a lot of reviews and was
looking for something that didn't break the bank as a beginner as good quality
paddleboards are pretty expensive. HIKS were really helpful in terms of customer
service as I initially thought the gauge was broken as couldn't see what the SUP
was inflating to, but I just hadn't fully screwed the gauge on. Easy enough to
inflate once you've done it once or twice and I can get it up in around 7
minutes or so now. It's so sturdy and stable, you'd never guess it was
inflatable! Haven't been on the sea yet but am paddling regularly on the canal
and several lakes and thoroughly enjoying. It's super relaxing, the SUP handles
well, no issues with the paddle. Folding it back down to get it into the back is
a bit of an art but I feel I'm getting the hang of it now! All in all, I'm
really impressed and have convinced several friends to try SUP and they all want
to get their own boards now. I'd definitely recommend HIKS paddleboards!

Great board for the money. I'd hired a board a couple of times last year but
wanted to get my own. This board sounded like a great start for a beginner. I
was very impressed with the build quality of the board. A little difficult to
inflate to the full PSI although most boards are, thankfully I keep mine
inflated. A mate and I swapped boards to compare and whilst their board (very
similar in terms of length width and depth) felt a little more stable to the
HIKS board it did feel sluggish. I much prefer this board as it glides over the
water better. Even handles the kids (7&5) when they keep still! Good adjustable
paddle and sturdy Leash. Haven't taken it out in the sea yet. All in all, great
beginners board and value for money.

What a purchase!! I would recommend this to anyone. We were looking for a value
SUP board, mainly because spending nearly £800 on a branded board just seemed
ridiculous for what we wanted one for - we wanted a board to go up and down the
local canal and occasionally in the sea. I would recommend this for all adults,
I would even advise that even if your weight/height looks okay for the smaller
board that HIKS offered, I would go bigger and choose this one. The smaller
board is more for kids - I trialled a smaller board and it did dip a little in
the middle (and I’m within the recommended weight) - I’m much more stable and
enjoy the larger board. HIKS were fantastic throughout the purchase and swap of
my board from the smaller to the larger one - really responsive and helpful. If
you’re unsure, it’s worth giving them a call. If you’re looking for a SUP
especially if you’re a beginner and just want to get out and get started
(without paying over the odds) I can highly recommend. Don’t be put off my any
comments that might recommend a branded board (e.g RED boards) it’s not worth it
unless you’re pro. We’ve gone out a few times now on the local canal and we’ve
even adventured to the sea on our boards out to Old Harry’s Rocks and back from
Studland. We upgraded the leash after we purchased with a spiral cord which I
would recommend doing - (£5 each off eBay can’t complain!) - 3 stars in
inflation because, yes it’s manual, and takes maybe 10/15 minutes - we are
looking into an electric pump but you’ll be pumping by hand what ever board you
buy!

Always wanted to give this a go. Tried surfing. I’m not a surfer. I’m 16 1/2
Stone and I wanted something to enjoy on the water. Saw one of these on holiday
but didn’t try it. Saw the price of some of these and anything over £320 is too
much for a beginner. This offered the best price for what is a great product. It
arrived and I couldn’t wait to inflate it. The stirrup pump had a small issue,
immediately resolved by the company. Manually inflating is not for the feint
hearted. It can be done but if you invest in a quality electric pump you’ll be
glad you did. First time out I tried it at Woolacombe Beach North Devon. Very
little wind but there were waves and that caused me problems. However kneeling
was possible so I was able to paddle a bit whilst experiencing balancing. You
need calm water when starting off for the first time. I’d also recommend you
look on YouTube to see the helpful videos on learning the basics. I also got a
buoyancy jacket which could be a lifesaver if you fall off in deep water and
getting back on isn’t as easy as you thought. Great board great price ideal
beginners board & very easy to set up.

I did a lot if research into paddle boards before buying this one. I was
skeptical at the price as to whether it would be as good as the more expensive
ones however, I am yet to be disappointed! I have gone out in the sea with it
twice now and its amazing! obviously I won't be able to tell how well built it
is or how long its going to last but so far its surpassed my expectations. The
material is strong and tough and the board is rock solid when inflated. It takes
about 10 minutes to inflate but i'm not the strongest and its well worth the
wait! Everything seems to be good quality so hopefully will last a long time. I
will write another review after using it some more but first impressions are
that its a very good purchase!
