Eastern Gambeson

Eastern long gambeson is a typical example of eastern tribes wearing starting
from the II century a.d. It preserved its original appearance today in some
national costumes (of the same length or shorter, with long or short sleeves) of
such eastern countries as Mongolia, Kazakhstan, etc. This gambeson was not a
specialized type of armour. There was usual stuffed vest, made of wool, linen or
cotton, and it was worn by nomad tribes, who were irrupted the near tribes.
People, for whom war was a life-style, were upgrading such gambeson with metal
or leather plates. These plates provided good protection during the battle. You
can see such type stuffed armour in the picture of Genghis Khan’ warriors,
Chinese imperial soldiers and commanders. Base price of gambeson includes
following options: Color – black;  Contast quilting and egde – no Additional
back protection – no;  Do-it-Yourself – no;  Size – XS;   Fabric – cotton; ..

Costume of English knight from Battle of Poitiers, stylization

Need a XIVth century English knight's clothing and armor? Just for you, we’ve
collected images of universal English knights who fought during the Battle of
Poitiers times. Full garment – from braies to battle shield. Of course, it’s
only stylizatio, but quite a good one… The Battle of Poitiers was one of the
most important battles between French and English forces in the Hundred Years'
War. In this battle, on September 19, 1356, most of France's knighthood was lost
while the French king John II the Good and his son Philip (later Philip II the
Bold, Duke of Burgundy) were both taken prisoners. The ransom for the king was
equivalent to two years' worth of the budget of the entire French kingdom.
Enormous booty and vast ransoms were also taken by English soldiers from captive
noble French knights. The whole of France was plunged into deep sorrow...  All
products are available at steel-mastery.com, and if you need something that we
do not have – we’ll make it for you so that your knight image is complete.  So

Helmet bascinet mid-14th century

Bacinet was a very popular form of helmet dome in the XIV century and often
complemented by aventail.   In turn, the nasal plate was a narrow metal plate
designed, as you can easily guess, to protect the nose. Helmets with nasal
plates were very common in Rus and Western Asia, but in Europe they were
superseded by helmets with visors in the XIII-XIV centuries. Nasal plates were
designed to protect the face from not very strong blows, but unlike other means
of facial protection, hardly impaired visibility and did not interfere with
breathing. We offer you a helmet with nasal plates of a detachable type (you can
read about them here - Helmet's visor fixation types). Such a nasal plate has a
hinge which allows it to be folded upwards and it is mounted on a special
holder, which allows it to unfast the nasal plate. This is quite a specific type
of nasal plate, characteristic only for Western and Central Europe and it was
found mainly with bacinets, rarely occurring with cervelliere. Both were
designed to be worn under a..

Sleeveless gambeson

Sleeveless gambeson is one of the most popular model of medieval padded
underamor in XI-XII centuries. Warriors who did not take participation in close
fights were preferably wearing such vest gambeson. It did not protect the whole
body, but was good protection for archers and crossbowmen who were fighting on
distance. There are various materials are available for such padded vest. As
fabric of gambeson was showing social status of owner, you may choose velvet,
wool, leather or more simple linen or cotton. Bottom edge can be decorated with
festoons. We offer different quantity of layers for your sleeveless gambeson. If
you plan to wear quilted gambeson under the hauberk, so 5-6 layers will be
required. If there will be full-plate armor or brigandine, so 2-3 layers of
wadding is enough. Base price includes following: fabric – cotton; color –
black; layers of padding – 2; lining fabric – cotton; edge with contrast color –
no; size – XS – L; fastenings – leather laces;  color of lether fast..

SMALL-PLATED BRIGANDINE, SECOND HALF OF THE XVTH CENTURY

Armor is completely handcrafted and made-to-measure item. That means that our
artisans use individual body parameters and personal regards of client to
handcraft such body protection. This is a collective image of the small-plated
brigantines popular at the second half of the XVth century through all the
Europe. A lot of them you can find at Leeds Royal Armouries Museum, Bernisches
Historisches Museum, Thun Castle Museum, Spiez Castle Museum, Basel Historical

period brigantines are their silhouette - tight and very short. As for the
assembly scheme, each master had his own, original one, which modified at the
request of an individual client. Here we are, inspired by the example of

The Hedeby Klappenrock Jacket

My mother told me Someday I would buy Galleys with good oars Sails to distant
shores The Hedeby Klappenrock is our new gambeson – a very early-medieval and
astonishing one. The Hedeby short fall jacket is stylish and was quite popular
among Scandinavian warriors.  Why is this the gambeson that you just can't help
but buy? Because no matter what time of year it is – it’s always a good time to
go for plunder and glory! Well, besides your trusty shield and battle ax, it
wouldn't hurt to put on something worthy of a wolf of the sea. For example, a
dashing and popular among brothers-in-arms short jacket from Hedeby – Hedeby
Klappenrock, in particular.  Let's face it – to live at the turn of the X-XIth
century among the Vikings and not have Hedeby-style gambeson was a shame. Yeah,
all the straight dudes like the Continental Saxons and the ones pictured on the
helmet plates from Sutton Hoo wore those too. So how do you still not own one?
We offer three types of quilting to choose from – diagonal, ..

WITCHER LEATHER ARMOR KIT

Later, it was said the man came from the north, from Ropers Gate. Andrzej
Sapkowski, The Last Wish When it comes time to choose a leather armor costume,
the choice is not an easy one to make. An amount of fabulous characters and
stunning real leather armors is astonishing. Yet, Netflix gave us an embodiment
of coolness for the next few years – Witcher leather armor. Leather as dark as
night. Rivets shining on it just like silver stars. Classy fantasy armor you are
not ashamed to wear for a fight against monsters as well as the Emperor of
Nilfgaard himself.  Meanwhile – one of the best cosplay costumes for men.
Needless to say, we couldn’t walk past it so produced this brutal Witcher gear
set for you. Main features for Witcher armor set are: Leather basis of armor is

item. That means that our artisans use individual body parameters and personal
regards of client to handcraft such body protection.  Here are the most popular
medieval armor of reenactors and fighters - brigandine of Visby. Battle at
Gotland coast on 22th of July 1361 "one of the most fearsome revelations of a
medieval battle known to archaeologists" leave to us a large quantity of armor
finds in the mass graves.  Why brigandine armors were so popular in XIV century
and nowadays? They offer similar protection as the steel cuirasses, but provide
much more freedom of movements. Reliable and easy construction of armor -
numerous steel plates, riveted to leather or textile base, and seems like it
likes being top dog again. ;) This a good, completely handcrafted knight armor
