TERMS & CONDITIONS
* Eligibility: The CEO.CA Technologies Ltd. & Gold Telegraph Gold Giveaway (the
"Contest") is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the
time of entry. Employees of CEO.CA Technologies Ltd., Gold Telegraph, and
their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Contest
is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial,
municipal, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or
restricted by law.
* Sponsor: The Contest is sponsored by CEO.CA Technologies Ltd., located at
CEO.CA Technologies Ltd. 69 Yonge Street, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M5E
1K3.
* Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Contest, entrants agree
to abide by the terms and conditions herein, which are final and binding in
all matters related to the Contest. Winning and receiving a prize is
contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
* Contest Period: The Contest begins and ends on [Start Date] at [Start Time]
and [End Date] at [End Time] ("Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or
after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
* How to Enter: To enter the Contest, you must (a) follow @ceodotca and
@GoldTelegraph_ on X (Formerly Twitter), (b) repost (retweet) the contest
announcement tweet during the Contest Period, and (c) click the link in the
contest announcement tweet to sign up for the CEO.CA Technologies Ltd. and
Gold Telegraph newsletters with a valid email address. There is no entry fee
and no purchase necessary to enter this Contest.
* Prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) ounce of physical gold bullion.
The approximate retail value of the prize is based on the current market
value of one ounce of gold and is subject to fluctuation. In the event that
obtaining physical gold bullion and shipping it is not feasible due to legal
or regional restrictions, or any other unforeseen geopolitical or political
issues that may prevent the sponsor from delivering the prize, efforts will
be made to ensure the recipient receives the bullion. Should these efforts
prove unviable, the winner will be awarded a prize of equal or greater value,
potentially in cash, to enable the purchase of the gold bullion themselves.
The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available, except
as noted above.
* Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible
entries received. The draw will take place within five days after the Contest
Period ends. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries
received. The winner will be chosen by random using a random draw application
administered by the staff of CEO.CA Technologies Ltd.
* Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via email and/or X (Formerly
Twitter) DM within 1 to three days of the drawing. The winner will have ten
days to respond and claim the prize. Failure to respond within the specified
period will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be
selected.
* General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or
administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, the Sponsor reserves
the right to, in its sole discretion, either suspend the Contest to address
the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to
the spirit of these Official Rules or terminate the Contest.
* Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Contest,
entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and their respective
parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and
other companies associated with the Contest, and each of their respective
officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and
against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the
Contest or receipt or use of the prize.
* Prohibited Countries: Residents of countries under U.S. embargo or sanctions,
as well as Afghanistan, Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia,
Cambodia, Chad, China, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El
Salvador, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Iran, Iraq,
Italy, Jamaica, Lebanon, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan,
Panama, Peru, Singapore, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania (the United Republic
of), Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United
Kingdom, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, and any other country where local laws
prohibit entry into contests of this nature, are not eligible to participate.
* Prohibited Persons: The Competition is not open to employees and those
domiciled with an employee or immediate family member of an employee
(including, sibling, parent/guardian, child, spouse (including common law) of
the Sponsor or its affiliates. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify
eligibility of a potential prize winner, including but not limited to
requesting government-issued photo identification.
* Compliance with X (Formerly Twitter) Rules: This Contest is in no way
sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with X. Entrants are
providing information to the Sponsor and not to X. Entrants must comply with
all applicable X rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in
disqualification from the Contest.
* Disputes: This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada. As a condition of
participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes
that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out
of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without
resort to any form of class action.
* Privacy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy
stated on the CEO.CA Technologies Ltd. website. Click here to read the
Privacy Policy.
* Collection of Personal Information: Any personal information collected from
an entrant by the Sponsor will be used solely for the purpose of
administering the Competition and will not be published or provided to any
third party without the prior written consent of the entrant.
* Contest Results: Upon the conclusion of the contest, an announcement
regarding the winner will be made either through an X Spaces session in
collaboration with Gold Telegraph, or via a post made in partnership with
Gold Telegraph. For Contest results, contestants can also send a
hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to Winners List - CEO.CA &
Gold Telegraph Gold Giveaway Contest at CEO.CA Technologies Ltd. 69 Yonge
Street, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M5E 1K3.
* Requests for the winner list must be received within fifteen days after the
Contest end date.
