DISCOVEROUR HISTORY

Boska, Rynek 18c – our roots




The oldest known hotel in Gliwice used to be “Deutsches Haus” (“German House”),
located at Rynek 18. Its origin most probably reaches middle of 18 th century
while the city has been taken over by the German Prussia. During its 160 years
of functioning in the town centre, the hotel has only slightly changed its
appearance, all the renovations were done for improvements and to make it look
prettier. It used to be the most prestigious and admired hotel in Gliwice until
the end of 19 th century.

Nowadays, in this very location, we are honored to welcome you to our Boska
Restaurant. We combine the best Italian cuisine, through handmade pasta and
pizza, with the beauty of the rest of the Europeans flavours. We are
reconnecting with our traditions at the turn of the 19 th and 20 th century,
while its long-standing owner – Birawer used to treat the community of Gliwice
to an amazing food and music. In Boska, you can expect the most sophisticated
menu, music and elegance that will meet all your expectation. In the 1990s,
after the refurbishment, a café and a sweet shop was added. You will get a
chance to try our outstanding desserts and Italian coffee here also.

Your visit to Boska will give you an experience that you will never forget, you
will get a glance at the beautiful catering industry in Gliwice, in a place full
of good taste and style, through a combination of modernity and tradition.

Each of our dishes is very well-thought, but still innovative. Every single
detail is perfect, that is why the combination of flavours will amuse you and
will not be easy to forget. And all that thanks to our amazing head chef,
experienced and creative cook, serving you “little drops of heaven” every day

Przemyslaw Gosciniak, born and raised in Bydgoszcz, Graduated from 2 culinary
schools. He was improving and learning his cooking skills in England, Poland and
a German restaurant with 3 Michelin starts. He was in the National team of the
Culinary Olympics in Erfurt. National champion in serving lamb and goose meat.
National champion in dishes made of cod, sturgeon and caviar. Participant in
National
Culinary Championship, Wine and Food Noble Night and “Archimagus”.

His uncompromising attitude in the kitchen, choice of high-quality products and
great cooperation with a young team have created this menu. We hope that we can
create the ambience and experience, by tasting our outstanding main courses,
handmade pasta and delicious pizza.
