ABOUT HKTDC


The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established
in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 50 offices
globally, including 13 in Mainland China, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a
two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions
to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and
medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The
HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via
research reports and digital news channels.

on delivering value by promoting trade in goods and services, while connecting
the world's small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through Hong Kong's

The HKTDC organises a broad spectrum of promotion activities, networking events
and missions to create platforms for Hong Kong businesses to connect mainland
and overseas enterprises and multipliers and navigate a world of opportunities.
World-class events
The HKTDC successfully connects Hong Kong companies with local and international
buyers, suppliers and conference participants through our exhibitions and annual
flagship conferences in physical-online format.
Hong Kong services promotions
The HKTDC promotes Hong Kong services by organising different promotion
activities and events. Some of these activities with innovation, technology, and
creativity components are organised to facilitate commercial and market
opportunities.

FACILITATING BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND OPPORTUNITIES WORLDWIDE

Business matching
The HKTDC pushes for concrete results and offers a total business matching
solution with a whole suite of customised online and offline services such as
hktdc.com Sourcing and business matching meetings, for customers to meet their
business needs.
Belt and Road and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area activities
The HKTDC helps businesses capture opportunities arising from the Belt and Road
Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay
Area). Through our Belt and Road and Greater Bay Area-related activities, we
reach out and connect businesses with potential investors and partners.
Hong Kong brands promotions
The HKTDC promotes Hong Kong’s designs and brands to the mainland through
various retail outlets featuring Design Gallery products while DG Studio
promotes Hong Kong lifestyle brands to ASEAN countries.

EMPOWERING SMES AND ENTREPRENEURS FOR GLOBAL BUSINESS

HKTDC SME Support
The HKTDC SME Centre, through the T-box programme and various SME support
services such as business advisory, market information, networking opportunities
and workshops, helps SMEs transform their businesses in the areas of branding,
e-commerce, new markets and manufacturing and supply chain solutions.
Capacity building activities
The HKTDC organises a wide range of webinars and workshops to enhance the
competitiveness of Hong Kong SMEs. Our platforms also help start-ups make
connections with potential investors, partners, mentors and customers.
HKTDC Research
HKTDC Research helps businesses stay ahead of market developments and make
informed business decisions by producing a range of research articles every
year, focusing on market trends and industry forecasts.
