RUSTY GOAT POETRY





ABOUT



Scott (aka Rusty Goat the Poet) Was born in Sunderland. And is proud of his
'Makem' roots.

He began to meander south at an early age, and has lived in Wiltshire for the
last 7 years.

His poetry touches on subjects relating to Life,Crisis,Love and Discovery. Scott
openly talks about his own personal experiences with Alcohol and Substance
dependency and his life long battle with poor mental health.

Scott first performed at an open-mic in February 2017 and since then has
traveled to countless Spoken Word nights across the country. Including numerous
Headline and Feature/Guest sets in Birmingham, Bristol, Gloucester, Worcester,
The West-Country and Swindon.

He regularly enters Poetry Slams and to date has won The Gorilla Slam
(Gloucester Poetry Festival) 2017 and 2018 and the Wordmustard Slam 2017.
