TEACHING AND LEARNING CONFERENCE
The Teaching and Learning Conference, TLC@AOM, is a "conference within a
conference" that takes place during the AOM Annual Meeting. The conference is
designed to help AOM members who have a passion for teaching improve their
teaching practices in an open forum of shared experience. TLC@AOM features both
submitted and invited sessions. TLC@AOM is held in conjunction with the AOM
Annual Meeting and is organized to support and meet the teaching-related needs
of AOM members. The conference engages members as teachers, increases the
visibility of teaching, and positions AOM as a global leader in management
teaching. TLC@AOM is offered as a 'Strategic Doing' initiative.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2023 Teaching and Learning Conference (TLC@AOM) is open!
Join your colleagues in this day-long event for advancing teaching and learning
at Academy of Management!
TLC@AOM Registration Fee: US$ 120.00
You must be registered for the Annual Meeting and have an active AOM membership
to register for TLC@AOM. Attendees who have registered for the TLC are entitled
to full access, excluding committee meetings. The TLC registration fee does not
include AOM registration or membership. TLC registration is individual and
non-transferable.
TEACHING AND LEARNING CONFERENCE REGISTRATION POLICY
In order to ensure maximum benefit to TLC@AOM attendees, we ask that all
registrants read the Annual Meeting Registration Policy.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
To cancel TLC registration, a cancellation request must be submitted in writing
to Academy of Management. If the cancellation request is not received before the
posted cancellation deadline, no refund will be issued. After this date, refunds
cannot be granted due to contractual obligations and guarantees.
ATTENDANCE
You must be registered for AOM’s Annual Meeting to register for the Teaching and
Learning Conference (TLC). All TLC attendees, including individuals scheduled on
the official TLC Program, are required to register and pay the appropriate
registration fee in order to participate in any capacity at the TLC. This
includes: authors, coordinators, discussants, facilitators, hosts, distinguished
speakers, moderators, organizers, speakers, participants, presenters, panelists,
secretaries, treasurers, and any division-elected or appointed volunteers. By
registering to attend TLC, you grant permission to the AOM to take and use your
photo in marketing and promotional pieces, written publications, videos and the
association’s website for an indefinite period of time.
GUEST ATTENDANCE
AOM attendees registered as guests are not permitted access to TLC workshops,
events or any educational sessions. To attend TLC sessions, guests must register
at the full Annual Meeting registration rate and pay the TLC registration fee.
NAME BADGE
All TLC attendees must wear official conference name badges to all TLC sessions,
workshops, receptions and events. Access to conference functions without a badge
will be denied. Name badges are provided to all registered attendees. Attendees
without an official conference badge will be asked to show proof of
registration, reprint their name badge or register for the conference onsite.
Accepted forms of proof include a registration receipt, a registration
confirmation email or a copy of the registration confirmation page. Failure to
show proof of registration will result in removal from the conference and will
subject registration violators to a formal ethics complaint.
CHILDCARE
AOM strives to support its members through professional activities at the Annual
Meeting. To provide the most enriching and comprehensive academic sessions for
all our members, we encourage adult attendance only inside the Annual Meeting
Sessions. Due to the high safety and security needs, significant cost and
limited interest, AOM does not provide on-site childcare services.
CONDUCT
AOM’s Annual Meeting attendees agree to conduct themselves in an ethical manner
appropriate for a gathering of management scholars. Inappropriate behavior that
creates a disturbance, disruption or safety hazard are prohibited inside any
official meeting facility. Attendees may not enter any areas under construction
or renovation, or during set up or tear down of the Annual Meeting equipment and
fixtures. AOM reserves the right to request attendees found disrupting any part
of the Annual Meeting to leave the session or facility, and the attendee may be
subject to a formal ethics complaint by AOM. For more information regarding the
