THE ECOSYSTEM OF CRYPTOCURRENCY VIRTUAL CONFERENCE 22

In 2021, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies reached an all-time
peak of $2 trillion and there are almost 10,000 different cryptocurrencies,
several hundred of which have real market value. Consumer interest is driving
financial institutions’ consideration of offering access to crypto products,
including interest bearing accounts, lending and payment services. This virtual
conference will focus on the fundamentals of crypto and virtual currencies and
NFTs.  Attendees will learn the distinctions between the various digital assets,
how they are valued, and how members and consumers interact with them. The
session will also survey the emerging ways banks and credit unions are engaging
with the digital asset ecosystem. 

Learning objectives:

 * Understand the distinction between classes of digital assets.
 * Learn how consumers are using digital assets and how banks and credit unions
   are beginning to enter the digital asset space as issuers and intermediaries.
 * Survey the evolving regulatory framework emerging to meet the digital assets
   space.
