CENTER FOR NEW DESIGNS IN LEARNING AND SCHOLARSHIP

We're the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, Georgetown's
center for teaching innovation, research, and excellence.

At CNDLS, we enrich the academic experience by supporting faculty and the
broader teaching community at Georgetown through a diverse array of programs &
initiatives, services, and comprehensive teaching resources.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON


 * ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
   
   Staff at CNDLS have been serving as leaders and advisors in both
   understanding and implementing generative AI across campus.
   
   CNDLS has launched programming and initiatives aiming to enhance student
   learning and engagement through the creative and responsible integration of
   AI-supported tools across various academic domains at Georgetown.

 * EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
   
   Experiential learning immerses students in hands-on activities, real-world
   scenarios, and practical situations toward the goal of promoting deep
   understanding and skill development.
   
   These principles are baked into CNDLS programs and consultation work, from
   funding a range of experiential projects to collaborating with partners also
   invested in this form of engaged learning.
