Highly recommend mortage advisor We had a disaster with trying to get a mortgage with Nationwide. We had a MIP for the house we wanted, put our offer in and this got accepted, went through the full application to be told it had been valued lower and they wouldn’t lend us the money… As you could imagine, this was very stressful, and we were worried we may have to pull out of the house we wanted. We were introduced to Jay, and he worked with us to secure our mortgage deal. We were very nervous starting with Jay as we were worried, we would get let down again, but Jay was honestly amazing. He was easy to talk too and very informative, he worked really hard and quick and secured us the mortgage we needed allowing us to continue to go thorough with the process. We spoke to Jay on a Thursday and by the following Tuesday we had our mortgage offer accepted and confirmed. It took almost 3 weeks with Nationwide and only 5 days including the weekend (that he doesn’t work) with Jay. Very speedy. The whole process was very quick and easy, and Jay took on all our stress and reassured us everything would be ok and had extra plans in place in case the first plan fell through. She supported my daughter through the whole process, every step of the way she explained everything in such detail. She was so professional in submitting the mortgage application and because of her experience in this field, it was approved within a few days. It all meant that a usually really stressful experience was made so easy with Alison as she had everything under complete control and because she was so calm it made us feel so much more relaxed. She kept in constant communication by calls and emails throughout and anytime we needed her she took calls straight away.
