BTFS (BitTorrent File System) is the next-generation decentralized file storage
system built for Web 3 applications. BTFS provides a global decentralized
storage service with high reliability. In BTFS 2.0, we reconstructed our
framework by using smart contracts based on BTTC, ETH, and TRON, which makes
BTFS web 3 native and more scalable, while also offering low cost and high

With the combination of peer to peer network and smart contacts based on
blockchains, BTFS is able to interact with multiple blockchain systems. We took
our first step on BTTC(BitTorrent Chain) and constructed BTFS 2.0
experimentally. Once its reliability and security is testified, multi-chain
features will be constructed on ETH and TRON. Other public chains are
considerable.

PROTOCOL SUPPORTED

BTFS is an open storage network. In order to store or share private files in an
open network, BTFS supports file encryption storage protocol, and uses mature
and efficient hybrid encryption technology to realize private storage and
sharing of files.
