Will my laptop fit in the Daily & Thirteen?

The laptop compartment in the Daily fits up to 16” devices and is protected on
all sides. It’s a floating design, meaning elevated off the bottom for extra
protection against drops.

Maximum recommended laptop size:
H39 x W28 x D4 cm
15.3”x 11” x 1.5”

Are your bags waterproof?

Our backpacks are water resistant, not waterproof. Our fabrics all come with a
layer of Durable Water Repellent (DWR), and will handle splashes and brief
periods light rain.

However, like most zipped backpacks, our backpacks are not waterproof: water
can eventually seep in in prolonged exposure, so  to protect your bag in for
longer exposure or in heavy rain, we recommend adding a raincover for
enhanced protection.

What’s the best way to clean my bag?

Spot cleaning with mild detergent a cloth. 

Please note the Durable Water Repellent coating may rub off with time. We
recommend reapplying a DWR coating to maintain best water resistance.

Can I remove the foam insert?

You sure can. The foam insert adds firmness to the structure and we recommend
keeping it on. To remove it, lift the velcro area and slide the foam out, and
refasten the velcro tab.

d shape. However, when I got this backpack, I was immediately impressed by its
design and overall feel. The x-pack is not too noisy for me, has a great balance
of flexibility yet holds its shape. The design is quite geometric without being
boxy. It is not too 'round' for me. The zippers and zipper pulls are great. (I
usually replace the zipper pulls but not on this one.) The straps are great -
they don't 'crinkle' like a lot of other backpacks I've been through. The
overall all design and how the whole things comes together is a work of art in
my view. I've been collecting backpacks (and selling them used) for years and
this is my favorite. Somethings I like about it: is is quite lightweight, it
stands up very well (very stable), it is not boxy yet is still geometric, the
lack of obvious external branding. I had thought the relatively minimal
organization would be an issue, but I got a pouch to store the odds and ends
which I put in the front compartment and this works great. This backpack is more
than the sum of its parts - the design is effective and unique. If you need a
lot of capacity or organization, then this is probably not the right backpack. I
find the design sleek, practical, with a great hand-feel. I think the designers

1. A document sleeve that runs the length of the laptop sleeve

2. A few velcro straps inside the bag to tuck away and secure objects like an
umbrella or tall water bottle. This will prevent it from falling to the bottom
of the bag.

3. Brighter color lining of the interior to make it easier to see what’s inside.
