THE PIONEERS

OF SMALL SATELLITES

Terran Orbital is a leading manufacturer of small satellites primarily serving
the United States and Allied aerospace and defense industries. Terran Orbital
provides end-to-end satellite solutions by combining satellite design,
production, launch planning, mission operations, and in-orbit support to meet
the needs of the most demanding military, civil, and commercial customers.

CAPSTONETM

IS ON ITS WAY

TO THE MOON.

The Terran Orbital designed and built Cislunar Autonomous Positioning System

COMPONENTS

6U RAILPOD DISPENSER 366MM

The Terran Orbital 6U RailPOD is a rail type satellite deployer capable of
carrying a single 6U CubeSat payload and serves as the interface between the
CubeSat and Launch Vehicle (LV). The Deployer is a rectangular metallic
structure made of high-strength aluminum, an ejection spring mechanism, and an
internal rail system that interfaces with the CubeSat. This Terran Orbital 6U
RailPOD is configured for 366 mm, with a 400 mm length variant also available.

66V LOAD CONTROLLER

The Load Controller is responsible for switching on/off the supply of power to
all the modules on the spacecraft, as well as providing primary actuation for
torque rods, and gathering temperature data from thermistors not otherwise part
of a module.

FLIGHT COMPUTER

The Terran Orbital Flight Computer is the brain of any spacecraft, orchestrating
the activities of the spacecraft as it flies around the earth and performs its
mission. Every Terran spacecraft has at least one of these modules, and
sometimes two, or even three! The system is based around a hybrid
FPGA/conventional processor architecture, Dual core, and was designed for
expandability, with storage ‘daughter cards’ that allow the system to be
tailored to the mission
