Our Story
Coastal State Roleplay is a premier roleplaying community utilizing the FiveM
platform. Our community as a whole was founded nearly 8 years ago during the
Grand Theft Auto IV era. We are a community with a strict foundation on
realistic, serious, and dedicated roleplay.
Coastal State Roleplay brings the best of the best from a completely custom
vehicle fleet, uniforms to include custom belts, sirens, a near 1:1 replica of a
real life MDC system, and proper lingo and policies. All crafted by our in house
development team.

Coastal State Roleplay maintains a high reputation in that our roleplay is
polarizingly different from the typical FiveM experience. Nearly all of our
Command Team works in the Law Enforcement field, many of them in California.

Simply put, there is no other community that correctly depicts Southern
California like we do.

Our Departments
Los Angeles Sheriff's Department
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in Coastal State Roleplay has the sole goal
of portraying the LASD in the most accurate way possible. We have been around
since 2015, with humble beginnings in GTA IV. Years of experience have allowed
us to maintain development and policy standards second to none, creating the
most authentic to-life Southern California experience. 
With multiple members directly involved in California law enforcement, we truly
aim to give you a bite-sized version of the greatest show on earth. We do not
compromise on accuracy. If you can master the policies in our community, we
guarantee that you can hold your own as a Deputy with the LASD in real life.

Civilians of Los Angeles
At Coastal State Roleplay, our Civilian Team isn't just about playing a role –
it's about living a life. Since our journey began in 2015, we've grown from the
nostalgic lanes of GTA IV to the lively streets of GTA V.
Many of our members have their roots in California, bringing with them personal
tales, quirks, and experiences. Whether it's a traffic accident, a robbery
involving multiple members, or just a simple traffic infraction, our civilians
add color, depth, and soul to the game. So, if you're looking to experience Los
Angeles County beyond the badges and sirens, come join us. Here, every character
has a story, and every story matters. Welcome to the heart and soul of Coastal
State Roleplay, our Civilian Team.
What We Offer
Diverse Fleet

We have a 100% custom and realistic vehicle fleet, which includes our own 3
staged lighting system (not ELS) which allows us to have only rear lighting,
steady burns in the front, and full stage 3. Our systems also include accurate
reflections, wig wags, idle lights, and a custom made park/drive script. No
toggling extras required!
Civilian Versatility

As a Civilian within our community, you can expect an experience like no-other.
We highly encourage and reward creative and realistic roleplay. Whether you want
to be a blue-collared industrial worker or a member of the VCG13, we are happy
to provide you with the tools to roleplay to your heart's content.
Complex Dispatch System

We have a 1:1 replicate of the real life MDC developed in-house. This includes
recorded sounds, accurate paperwork, unit assignments, DMV and CLETS, private
messaging system, resetting tags, BRs, and much more! The Civilian side of our
CAD is made with speed in mind. Spend less time generating a character, and more
time roleplaying.
Lingo and Radio Policy

Sick of "10-11 on Grove Street"? Our radio and lingo policies go much beyond
generic FiveM policies every community uses. We maintain an extensive list of
common "short-forms" used by Officers in the field. We guarantee you that no
other community in FiveM communicates the way we do.
The Experience

The Experience here is honestly something that our team finds difficult to put
into words. We maintain and stand by the fact that no other FiveM community
replicates Southern California like we do. We put our full effort into immersing

Vehicle Policy

In an effort to be as realistic as possible, we have a strict vehicle policy
here at Coastal State Roleplay. This means that as an Officer, you will mostly
be patrolling the streets of CG in a Crown Victoria, Explorer, or Charger. If
you have the urge to drive an unmarked Mustang with side-runners, look
elsewhere.
